- In your book you stated that Gene Simmons from KISS fame was raised on Staten Island, this is not true, his connection to Staten island is that he went to College there.- You guys should get a proof reader, among many errors in your book, the Holy Grail of Staten Island Books is 5 volumes not 3 volumes as you state in your book - Leng, Charles W. and William T. Davis. Staten Island and Its People: A History, 1609-1929. 3 vols. New York: Lewis Historical Publishing, 1930.
