I bought this as a gift for my dad, he is a whiskey lover and he loved this set! He was impressed by the box and found the whiskey stones a rather novel addition.He was very pleased as was I. The set seems good quality for the money paid and makes a wonderful gift.

Product came exactly as described, it was a present for my brother and he loved it. Sturdy box and packaged nicely. Would recommend, great value for money.

Massively disappointing. Cheap glass, scratched and marked box and lightweight stones. Returning and being charged for the privilege

This would indeed make an ideal gift for any whisky lover but contrary to the listing, it's not just men who drink whisky and so I treated myself to this set! The glass is an excellent size and shape, allowing you to appreciate the aroma of the whisky before drinking it and the round, stainless steel 'stones' cool the drink more effectively than soapstone stones without diluting it like ice cubes. They do roll around when drinking which takes a little getting used to and obviously add weight to the glass which may be a consideration for some people. The wooden box which holds the glass, stones and tongs is sturdy and I could see it with a name plaque to personalise it. I'm not sure how practical it will be for some people to keep it stored in the box all the time but I like that it's protected and for my use only.

My dad loved this as a gift, it came presented really well and as someone who likes a tipple each day he uses the glass every day. The stones are heavy and metal and hold ice temps well for a good deal of time.The glass has a lovely robust bottom but I would have liked to see a slightly thicker use of glass for the actual drinking portion.

Really nice whisky set in a lovely box. The glass is a nice shape and nice to drink from and the stones stay cold for a good few drinks without watering it down like ice cubes. You can easily remove the foam from inside the box and use it for other stuff too

This was a lovely set of whiskey related items. The glass is comfortable and fits just right in your hand with a nice weight to it. The stones work as a nice way of cooling the whiskey without diluting with water to keep the full flavour. I found the tongs very easy to use to pick up and place the stones in the glass.The wooden case is exquisite, a really nice gift box. I have marked down slightly as the foam insert looked scruffy at the bottom left (see photo).
