A Haven on the Bay: A Willa Bay Novel

In the Willa Bay series, its now time to tell the story and Taylor and Meg. Going back to book 1 Taylor is the head chef at The Lodge and Meg was his sous chef until the boss's daughter Lara got in the way. Meg left and began working with Shawn and Zoe at restoring the Inn at Willa Bay. Taylor felt lost with Meg gone but feeling that her boyfriend Theo was all Meg needed didn't make his feeling known. It wasn't until the fire in the kitchen at The Lodge that Taylor was stepping up to tell Meg his true feelings. The renovation task that Meg starts with planning her own restaurant in the Barn is overwhelming, but the gesture she makes so Tia (the wedding coordinator for the Inn) has somewhere to live puts her restaurant plans on the back burner. Look for Sam's story in the future and maybe some more about finding out who wrote the recipes in the old book they found in the barn.

I have learned to take this series of novels very slowly. Repeatedly establishing families, boyfriends, children, grandchildren so that I don’t have to repeat every other page to make sense of the story.

This author is amazing in her bring you along with hThis series is one of the best and brightest I have read in awhile in the stories she has written.

Willa Bay is one of my top favorite series! Just finished Haven on the Bay and already ordered the next in the series, and can’t wait to start it. Hope there will be more after the next!

I have enjoyed the Willa Bay books. The characters are interesting. I like the family dynamic, and look forward to reading the next book, in the series.

Read this book in one sitting. Easy to follow the characters, great interweaving of the adult siblings. Will read the next in the series.

I enjoyed reading this book. Like how friends and family get together to help each other with many projects. Also liked the budding romance.
