The great part of this product is that it does not cause suds nor does it have a scent. You can effectively remove spots with little effort. I tried it on a few spots around the house. I have two toddlers and a cat so there are plenty of options. I found that this worked pretty well on the carpets. Without suds I didn't have to add a ton of water to dilute spreading the cleaning area. The scent is neutral so you don't have a harsh chemical smell while you clean. Plus it is non-toxic so I was not concerned when I looked over and the cat was licking the cap. I tried it on our kitchen chair and it got a grease stain out (Note: After image is still a bit wet) that had been there a while. I would love to see what this can do in a steam cleaning vacuum. Right now I have considered tossing my kitchen chairs when the girls get older due to the amount of stains caused by toddlers eating but maybe with this and a wet vacuum I can salvage them. Next time they spill something on our nice couch (inevitable) this should make things much easier than the typical soap and water method I use, which tends to spread the stain until you dilute it enough. I tried it on some more set in stains that have been hit with multiple spot cleaners with no results and I can see minor progress on the cloth but it did not cause much of a dent in those cases, so it is not a miracle product. Overall, this is a product that stands out from a standard carpet spot cleaner and the price is inline with other non-toxic spot cleaners. I recommend this product for its easy sudsless process that keeps the affected area small while cleaning.

There are stains that I have to at I have not been able to get out and with this I was able to get out. There are some stain removers that leave bad marks in carpet but this one is not that.

I was surprised that this product is next to odorless! Pretty much every product I've used over the years has some kind of fragrance to it, especially anything that is a stain/pet stain product - not this one! So happy with that. Reasonable price for a gallon too.And the results I've had are fantastic so far. It has worked on every stain I've tried it on, and it really pulls some dirt out as well. I'm impressed. Works great on old, dried on cat vomit. Broke down and bought a small spot cleaning machine (a Hoover) just for those spots - don't want to drag out my portable carpet cleaner as it's big, loud and a lot of work for just one tiny spot.Here's my deal - I never, ever use cleaning products in the tanks of my carpet cleaners/extractors. I use a spray bottle or pump-up sprayer and spray them on the spot or carpet and then extract that using water with a rinse agent in it, in the carpet cleaner/extractor. This greatly reduces resoiling of the carpet, as cleaning solutions/products attract dirt and rinse agents neutralize and remove those cleaning solutions/products and soften your carpets. I also write how much product to mix with how much water on the bottle for quick reference - I got tired of reading the tiny print on gallon jugs over the years and just make notes on the neck of the bottle so I can speed read how much to mix in, it also makes mixing quick and easy for my kids when they borrow my equipment.

I have a found stain on my light beige carpet that I have cleaned several times and it always comes back. It's a stubborn stain that normally I have to spray, leave the cleaner sit on it for about 5 minutes, and then come back and blot it and scrub it until it disappears for a couple of weeks. I was curious how the stain would react to this cleaner, and I was pleasantly surprised when I blotted the stain, and within just a minute or so, I saw the stain lifting and the light beige color of the rug appear. I didn't have to scrub it or blot it 5 minutes afterwards to get the stain to lift - the spot disappeared! Now, I don't know if the stain will come back like it usually does, but for a quick spot lifter - it works!The price of this product is currently almost $30 in a gallon size bottle of concentrated liquid - which is very competitively priced. I definitely recommend this product - I can apply it, blot it a few minutes and then forget about it.

Although listed as a concentrate, it is suggested on the bottle to use full strength on spots. It did work well on some oil stains on the rug, when used at full strength. For my rug machine, I use at one cup per gallon of water, as suggested. It is an effective cleaner when used at that rate, there is little or no fragrance to the cleaner. The formula for me was a cleaner that I felt could be good addition to my cleaning arsenal.
