Protection that saves weight, is made well, and looks good..
Extremely easy to install. You do not need to remove the chain ring or at least not on most all bikes I'm familiar with. I did it on my V2 Santa Cruz Bronson CC & and on a V2 Santa Cruz 5010 CC & also a 2015 giant Trance2 all equally as easy...It takes maybe 10 minutes and you're done. Use a torque wrench and a little blue locktite and you are solid.

Great product
It fits perfectly on my trek remedy 29er with boost 148 spacing. Easy to install. I've hit the bash guard a few times and the bike just slides right over.

Set and forget
Quality build. MRP is a great company and is well known for their high quality accessories, hence why I'm willing to pay a bit more for this product.

Works, but hard to adjust, broke after 1 month
No complaints about the bash guard. The chain guide kinda sucks though:It's hard to adjust, you need a tool to change height. If the chain gets stuck on the backside of the chainring, it gets really badly stuck.Mine had the metal backing index itself into the plastic and that made it impossible to adjust. Eventually it blew up on a ride and the bolt fell out. Seemed well made so your experience may vary.

Awesome chain guide
Purchased this for my new 2021 Santa Cruz Hightower. It’s exactly what you want to buy if your looking at this item. I tried to install it without first taking of the chain ring; don’t do that, it’s a frustrating exercise in futility. Took the chain ring off like the shop will do which made it easy to accurately install the chain guide without further difficulty.

It's in place... now what
So, went for a couple of rides. I did have to move it from the 12 o'clock position to a little more forward. Interestingly while the bike was on the stand everything looked good, till i was riding, then I think a little extra grime on the chain caused a bit of rubbing. Moving it forward seems to have made all the difference. I like that it came with a bunch of shims. Fits as expected, now I just have to hit something hard enough to know it's doing it's job :)

Total rip off!
This was a total rip off... The item was a knock off of the real product. Be smart, order straight from the manufacturer.
