So far looks a quality part and exact replacement of original
I just installed and will update my feedback if something goes wrong in near future.Just for the benefits of future DIY friends: I got this starter for my 2005 Honda Accord EXL, when my original starter gave up after 15 years of hard work and 214K miles. Bad starter symptoms in my case was that when you try to crank the engine, there was no crank and just single click...then just silence. I thought it could be relay so I tried one from Advance auto for 7 USD, Starter relay is right above the fuse box, on driver side near your left foot. You can take out that plastic panel covering the surrounding of fuse panel. Be gentle(handle with love!) to pull out that plastic cover. Now, to install the starter...there are people who can do it without opening the throttle body and complete removal of intake plenum. But if you're DIY like me who is doing everything first time and learning by doing then take your time and open that throttle body bolts and watch some yourtube videos before you start it. watch those 30-35 minute ones...don't fall for those quick one, you might break something. invest in some good tools if you dont have, if you dont want to take out intake body then buy swivel sockets before you start to take out those 2 big bolts 14(33fps) &17(47fps)mm. if you take intake then it's very easy. if you're in snow belt you find it surprising that even after removing the bolts starter is not coming out, it's almost welded there. but don't worry, just throw some PB blaster and take a break/coffee/soda...then take a screw driver and gently hit with hammer on both parts upper and lower so it;will have even impact on the small collar that's inside the flywheel hole which is making this tighter grip because of rust.after you're done with installation, start your car and just observe the RPM needle(if you took apart throttle body)..you may see some fluctuations, just take it easy and go for a ride for 10-15 minute. it'll be all fine. thank you for reading this and hope it's helpful to some who is willing to learn from others experience.Update:19 Feb, 2022...this starter gave up and stopped working. No crank, no sound, no click...just silence...so lesson learned...if you're paying someone to install this for you then better go with Honda remanufactured from dealer itself. If you're DIY like myself then may be it's fine to go with it a quick replacement. But if you're DIY and not in rush to have the vehicle back up ASAP, then it's better to simple open the Honda starter and replace the worn out brushes assembly by yourself...that's what I did after this gave up. I had kept my original starter from last fix, had ordered brush assembly to repair original Honda starter and then simply changed the carbon brush assembly for 20 USD...it's way too easy, just be gentle and have patience while opening and putting it back...also while installing the starter, no need to take out the throttle body, just take out the coolant reservoir and air filter pipe(big pipe attached to throttle body)...then once you open the plenum then lift it slightly up and move the bottom of Plenum bracket over the black hose pipe leading to thermostat to get extra room!...if you're rebuilding your starter by replacing the worn out carbon brush assembly then to check your work, you can go to autozone or advance auto to see if it's working fine before you put it back...to rebuild you can be thorough by changing both plunger set and carbon brush assembly or simple change the carbon brush assembly...because that's what goes bad most of time as carbon brush worn out over time. hope it's helpful and save some frustration! quick tip...keep taking picture at every step as open it just in case if you're unsure while putting it back.

New starter
I ordered this starter to replace the existing one that had given its lift to the 15 year old car. This starter was identical to the one in the car so it was easy to remove and re-install (almost) the starter. Other than the nuisance of doing the job, the fact that the starter was identical to the original product, worked just fine, seller delivered as promised, can't say too much. Back on the road again.

Do not DIY on Acura TSXs!
Sorry for this not being a very good review of the product, but I was led to believe replacing the starter is an easy fix for beginners. On the Acura TSX, it's placed right in the middle of the engine, with no good access from the top. It should be taken from underneath, on a lift, but even then, it's just surrounded by other engine parts. I had to give it up and bring the car, sheepishly, to my local mechanic. It was embarrassing, although once a professional installed it..., well, actually I had an under-performing battery as well, which wasn't standing up to lack of use and cold weather during COVID unemployment. I probably will lose the car, or drive it into homelessness before long, so it's hard for me to be very enthusiastic about this. Maybe I should have tried a funny review like they used to have for the "Three Wolf Moon" T-shirts, because no matter how it worked, I can't help but be very depressed about it. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a cliff to drive it over, Thelma and Louise style.

Good Part Looks Well Made
Works well. Pain to change on Honda Element. Honda suggests removing the intake.... You can do it from below with a flex 3/8 ratchet and a 14mm deep well 6 point socket. Many good youtube videos on that subject as well.

Great starter at a great price! 03 Element
This starter bolted right up to my 2003 Honda Element with no issues. It's been working fine for roughly two months now. Will update if any issues arise.

Don't wait buy it.
Could not possibly work any better. Only difference was the connection for the starter signal wire.. I modified the car harness and made it work with a better situation and wire tied it so that it could not move... This starter made my wife's car sound brand new.

Great New Starter!
Worked perfect on my 2005 Honda Accord EX Coupe. A little pain to install since its behind the intake. Took about an hour and half to replace the old one with the new one. Saved hundreds doing it myself.

Judge parts by nuts
Since i pay for prime, it came fast. Also, the nut that tighten the positive terminal on the starter was not a good sign of good quality, but I will update this reveiw after a six months from now.Fits on 05 Accord Sedan LX 2.4L.
