The book is very nice... it has a lot of excellent pictures and information...
Very nice book... Great product... my only complaint is with Amazon... I wish they would send books packaged properly... in boxes... not just put them in plastic bags... it's always 50/50 if the book will arrive damaged... I would buy more books from Amazon if package properly... on this order the book was returned because it was damaged... plastic bag shipped...

Same as the others in this series......
Hate to sound like a broken record, but these books are all the same format and have the same basic errors in the text it seems. Yet another good photo collection printed in book format with supportive text that is barely adequate. As usual the rating would be five stars, but the text lets the book down as with all the others in this series that I've purchased. With regards to the Mirage III this book isn't as good a reference as some of the other aircraft they've done. The larger majority of the pictures in this book are of late model Swiss aircraft including most of the detail closeups. There are a handful of other pictures of misc. Mirages, mostly Argentine and a smattering of French and Belgian aircraft. There are also some pics of Pakistani Mirages thrown in for good measure. If you're looking for a good reference for French Mirage III's this book is a bit of a letdown in that regard. As before, the pictures that are included are great, there's a lot of them and for the purpose of a reference for building plastic aircraft models of the specific aircraft in the pictures this is a great resource. The pictures are clear and the book is printed on good quality semi-gloss paper. I said it before, and I'll say it again, the text is useless. Even as a descriptive text it's next to useless. These seem to be getting pricier as they release newer books. They started at $28, then went to $29 and now they are trying to charge $31 for new copies. Shop the 3rd party sellers and wait for used and you can snag these for less as they are a bit over-priced in my opinion. $30-31 is too much for these, I think $22-25 is a good price. If they want $30+ they should hire an editor and provide relevant, worthwhile and accurate info to accompany the pictures.
