Using the chair at my sewing table. Enjoying the comfort from the heavier padding in the wider than usual seat. If/as the top were to wear out, looks like should be easy to add a new top to replace.Rolls easily on a plastic mat I purchased at a local office shop. Makes accessing range of other work stations in my sewing room that much easier. Very stable on the five feet .Easy to assemble - took minutes.

It is supposed to be. Rated for 550lbs but it is very wobbly in the seat. I do not feel safe sitting on it so I have to find something else now I weigh 290 lbs very disappointed with this product.

Wheels are smooth and stool supports my weight quite nicely. Just being careful to sit in the middle and not stress the weld joints (as suggested from some reviews.)I highly recommend this stool as it's great value compared to other brands.
