Bresser 7-35x50 Special Zoomar Zoom Binoculars, Black

Very Good quality and very powerful.

Ordered these before christmas from Germany, received well packaged and quickly. They seemed really well built and gave a bright image. The pair I received suffered from bad collimation so was unable to see a stereoscopic image, even at the lowest magnification the images didn't overlap. The zoom seemed smooth with a good range of magnification to see in detail across the valley (2-8 miles). Focus was stable throughout the zoom needing only slight adjustment (as expected and could easily compensate when zooming in) from min to max. They did suffer a little from lens vignetting (possibly due to exit pupil diameter) at maximum magnification and I was very happy with the image (when closing either eye) Also came with a tripod mount which made of plastic seemed sturdy enough to keep the binoculars stable. For astronomy (again closing one eye) I could see the moon in detail, and a few of the moons of Jupiter. It was so sad they suffered from the collimation. If these didn't suffer from the collimation I would have been very happy with them, decided on a refund over replacement as time was of the essence for a pair of binoculars. Astroshop returned and refunded no problem. I ended up getting some Nikon 10-22x50 which I'm very pleased with.

Clunky, my fault should have paid more attention to the illustration, you get what you see. Feels cheap.Each separate lens caps hardly stay on just putting them into the case, what chance of keeping them in use in the field.A real struggle to feed the neckband through a very tight plastic slot.As another review, the stiff central focus barrel goes from min to max in one roll. Great but then micro-adjusting is not possible. Pays your money and take your choice.Field of view is actually quite small, again my fault should have paid more attention.Biggest disappointment was the distance to the closest focus point, way over 16M, worse if you try to zoom. My fault I should have realised this measurement was missing in the specification.Light gathering is great, got what I thought I was getting.Struggling with the view, keep seeing the prism rather than field of view. Maybe a getting used to thing.Slow to swing into line of sight, spot and focus.Would be excellent on a tripod, with a long steady shot waiting for the game to come into range.Except that is not my intended use.So yes cheap with many compromises, might possibly suit you, but not for me.

This is an excellent pair of binoculars at this price range which gives surprisingly clear views and excellent magnification. I purchased these binoculars for looking at the moon and i must say that i was so surprised by how big the moon looked when i looked through them that i now use them for astronomy only, which is ideal for them. They are a big pair of binoculars but surprisingly light when compared to other full size binoculars like this, and i would recommend a tripod for optimal viewing pleasure. That said it is still possible to hold them fairly steady if you rest your elbows on something and with practise the user will become used to using them. If your into hobbies like airplane spotting or Astronomy then go for these since you will not find a better binocular at this price range which incorporates all these optical features and decent build quality.

we purchases these binoclars rather than a telescope and are immpressed with the views of the moon we have so far had. Strongly recommend a tripod as even though you may think you have a steady hand you cannot keep yourself still enough. They are a lot lighter to hold than I was expecting and came with a useful carry case. Would strongly recommend them. Have also used them for viewing wildlife ( and new born lambs ). Remember when taking from the warmth out into the cold and cold to warmth you may get misting this is just due to rapid temperate change. Love them

Die Optik Ist miserabelsehr starke Unschärfe im Randbereich und kleines Sehfeld.Bei der höchsten Vergrößerung ist es am schlimmsten da macht sehen kein Spaß mehr da sind China Ferngläser für 50 Euro besser.Finger weg und lieber ein Fernglas von Bresser der Reihe Spektar oder der S-Serie super großes Sehfeld klare gestochenscharfe Sicht.Bin großer Fan von Bresser habe Teleskope Mikroskope und Ferngläser alles 1a nur dieses Glas ist Schrott.
