Our South African Boerboel tips the scales right at 200 lbs., so, finding something that fits him AND is built well enough to handle him can be a challenge! But, that said, this chain is BY FAR the best quality, heaviest, well-made chain collar we've found...LOVE IT! Looks great on him and "fits." It doesn't get lost on him and isn't underwhelming/whimpy looking.Very happy with it!

Nicely designed, the product was egregiously wrapped in plastic that you want to take a knife to, however, you don't want to scratch the product. Very difficult to unwrap heat shrunk like plastic around chains or I'd say 5 stars. The product I'd 5 stars,the wrapping was overkill bad a real bitch to detach from chain. However, likely they may do this to prevent scratching itself up in shipping. Came in a real cool box and velvet bag real classy and nice. You will never use a pet store chain again. Jury still out on if it stains dogs neck. You need to watch how u put it on your dog, it's cut of metal is designed to lay flat for a smoother setting on your dog's neck. If it's twisted it doesn't look as dynamic and it is mildly sharp on the hand, lay it flat and don't twist on install and it's a real nice piece. Use it as intended exactly and you will not be disappointed. You will bitch over removing the plastic that's for shure. But after getting a crane to tear off the plastic from the chain you should find a real nice collar for your dog. I would order again for sure.7/23 UPDATE** I updated a picture of just the two chains. The left brand new, the right 5 years old. Now it doesn’t stain your dog’s neck, but it goes DULL. . I had them replace one a few years ago they weren’t too happy about it but they did. I said lifetime warranty, wtf, they reluctantly agreed and sent me another one for exchange. They were $36 now $54 I just bought another one last week came in a cheap velvet bag no fancy box anymore. Their cutting costs. However I’m going to ask them to replace the Dull one again. If they don’t I’ll return the $54 one I just bought and not buy from them anymore. Hopefully they will play ball. Take notice that the new one on the left is clearly cleaner than the right 5 year older one. I also cleaned the old one on the right with dish detergent to give them the benefit of the doubt.
