High quality PVC molded plastic. The cape and hair were obviously molded separately then attached, so it creates a very good look and quality. Non-poseable, which is to be expected at this price. The painting is very good and the colors do not bleed into each other. The look and expression are very close to Asuna in the manga/anime/light novels. Much better than the more expensive Sega Dengeki Bunko or the Taito 7". I purchased my figure from Japan from 'A-store from Japan". Arrived in perfect condition and was $20.57. I did see this at Kumoricon (after ordering it) and it was $25 from most vendors there.Remember: Ha-n-bu-n !!

Bought as a gift, seems to be good quality. The box has Japanese writing which made it seem even more authentic and cool to the pre-teen I got it for.
