Q: I've heard the newer batches of this model has "Swiss Made" on the bottom of thr dial. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, it says "Swiss Made" under the minute markers at the 6 o'clock.

Q: How does this watch fit size wise? Smaller or bigger than normal? What size wrist is it for?

I had to remove two links for a good fit. My wrist is 7 1/4" in circumference. The case size was a good fit as well. This watch is the smaller style of older watches not like the watches of today's style that are quite larger. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions but I know that it fits great under a sleeve.
