Good casters, the rest is a disaster! Tipping hazard!
The casters are awesome and the black vinyl, brown stitching, and wood finish look nice, but just about everything else about this chair is a disaster. I can't even use the wood backrest because the seat doesn't have any holes and insert rivet nuts to accept bolts (Did I get a seat for a different chair?!) The cosmetic crown cover at the base is dented and rusted. The plastic cover for the backrest isn't shaped for the backrest curvature, so it looks bad and bends when you start to screw it down...but who cares? I can't even use the backrest!I tried to use the chair without the backrest, but if you have the seat inclined at its max, the chair is a tipping hazard. I've nearly fallen over in it twice. It's nigh useless if you want to use it to work at a desk and lean forward to grab anything, three wheels will lift off the floor, and all that's holding you up are two wheels and your toes!

Seller will replace missing parts!
I don’t write a lot of Amazon reviews but this chair has been a LIFESAVER for my lower back. I was hesitant to buy it without trying it first, but I’d recommend it to anyone who suffers from chronic low back pain and has to work at a desk. The assembly package was missing two screws, but I contacted the seller through Amazon and they sent me a replacement within a week. Otherwise assembly was pretty standard. It’s a good chair.

Angles are not right
The casters are good quality and the materials are strong enough, but the angles just aren't right for kneeling chair body dynamics. The possible adjustments are up-down height (works well), seat angle (great job, there) and the length of the bar that holds the knee pads, to allow them to be nearer or further away from the seat. The idea behind kneeling chairs is to shift your weight from all on the seat to about half on your shins, but that's impossible with this chair because the fixed angle of the bar that holds the knee pads just isn't right. It causes the knee pads to face the seat square on instead of at an oblique angle. I have another, cheaper one with the typical X-Frame design and my shins on that one rest on the pads like they should, but on this one, no matter the length-setting on the knee-pad extender (there are three lengths this can be set to, using two bolts), my knees are going square into the pads. That's not the kind of "kneeling" that a kneeling chair is supposed to facilitate! The small angle-float that is allowed on the pads is also a bad idea as the angle of float is not enough and it can't be tightened up to lock in the angle. Kneeling chairs all seem to be limited in adjustments, but this one just starts off with a bad design. One more poor feature is the extremely wide seat. On a kneeling chair, one has to swing a leg over the seat to get into it, and this really wide seat just gets in the way. One might think this seat would be ideal for a big person, but I think it would be especially difficult for a heavy person to be able to accomplish this bit of acrobatics.

Not Perfect, But Happy Overall
The chair was a bit laborious to assemble, but not significantly more so than other office chairs I've assembled. It looks great and seems to be well made, so I'm very happy with the aesthetic and quality. The only downsides I've experienced / haven't been able to solve for:- The kneepads aren't bolted directly into the rod, so they tend to "turn" on the rod which changes the alignment of your body a bit- It's difficult to find a position where my feet don't end up "resting" on the bottom / wheel support of the chair, so I don't feel like I'm getting the full benefits of since I can't rest my feet comfortably without putting their weight on part of the chair- Adjusting the chair settings for better fit is a painHoping I figure out the best settings for my body eventually but for now I definitely think this purchase is was a big upgrade from my previous, run-of-the-mill office chair.

Not worth the price
easy assembly. Probably got it done within an hour. However, some serious issues. I've had it for a few months now, and it is truly not worth what it cost. The adjustable knee pads need a tool to adjust, and there are only three adjustments. If I want them higher or lower, I have to get the tool, get on the floor, unscrew the bolts, and adjust from there. only for it to still be slightly off from what I wanted, and have to do it all over again. And the squeakiness. THE SQUEAKS are the worst.I move a lot while sitting. Not large movements, but I am always making little movements while sitting at my desk. While writing,. typing etc.I didn't realize how much I did until this thing started squeaking at every slightest movement I give it.The back of the seat is not adjustable, and there is not a lot of cushioning either.Oh, I also fell out of it while leaning too far back once.Have fun crawling out of this chair when you fall out of it. You can't really catch yourself either, legs in the chair and all.Maybe there was a problem with mine specifically because the packaging it came in was really busted up.

The perfect kneeling chair
Excellent chair and great quality. I was apprehensive at first because the price was low, but it is very sturdy and very comfortable. The knee rests are not fixed in place, but swivel so that the cushions are always at the correct angle for your knees. The back rest is perfect and the wood grain makes this chair look like a designer office fixture. WAY better than a standard chair. Paired with my adjustable stand/sit desk, I no longer have back pains while working long hours.

Almost perfect
Great lil chair overrall, helps w/ posture, relieves back pain, knee pads wear out and sink in after a few hours and if you are on the taller or heavier side it’s seemingly a lil less accommodating but overall, again, does the job. It’s my first kneeling chair and I’m sure there are better ones. I will probably get rid of this one at some point and get one that is larger.

I have back problems and very few chairs are comfortable for me. this one is very comfortable.
I'm very happy with this chair. It's at our kitchen table so I use it a lot - it almost forces one to sit in a good position. It's tricky to assemble but the seller is very helpful. I'm so glad I bought it.

first kneeling chair and I'm sold
Gave four stars out of five cause it's my first experience with this type of chair and I have no point of reference. I will say I'm satisfied with my purchase!I'm an art student who spends several hours at my desk drawing and have had to purchase a posture corrector from Amazon before to help pull my shoulders back as I work. While going to physiotherapy for my wrist she also recommended a kneeling chair to help with my back, shoulders and hips. Saw this one recommended by another artist coincidentally and decided to go for it after doing some simple googling and browsing of alternatives. It was a bit of a process to put together. The instructions could have been a bit more clear in the pictures and labelling of screws but it was fine in the end and I figured it out. Could have been user error.Definitely takes some getting used to and I'm working up to it after reading other people's experiences. A few hours at a time while I work. Otherwise sitting in my desk chair while doing basic computer stuff to give my knees a rest. You do need to adjust the seat and make sure you're positioned properly. It took me a bit to realize I wasn't putting my weight on my knees on the pads properly so I raised the seat and it was a lot more comfortable. Have already noticed after my workflow that my back and hips feel a lot better as compared to my standard office chair. Hoping to switch to using it all the time once I adjust and am better used to sitting like that. My knees are red afterwards but I don't have any real pain or discomfort?Only complaint or nitpick is that it's a small chair.Which is nice for my student dorm as it doesn't take up much space but the way I sit on it my feet are in a weird sorta spot even at max height (perhaps that's just how they're designed? but it's definitely taking some getting used to). Not terrible but could be super annoying or distracting to others.I'm 5'8". Chair might not work well or be comfortable for taller folks or those who have longer legs as others might have said.
