Inspiring
I enjoyed this quick read a lot, because the author is very down to earth and casual. He shares his experiences, his mistakes, and I feel like I learned a few things. I had hoped for more details, maybe a checklist, etc but this book was more of a personal story than a “how to do it, exactly” book. Even so, the book gave me an overall feeling of not wanting to give up just yet, and I think that may be what I needed.

I was more touched by the Author's personal story
Having a chronic illness myself, this authors book as giving me confidence and inspiration to stick with my writing. I would recommend this to people who have been struggling with self-publishing, who are overwhelmed with the process, this book will simplify things for you. Especially if you tend to overthink, like I do. The fact that David or, Mr blaze, got to write a book for Disney just by making a LinkedIn profile, gives me hope that something like that might happen to all of us self-published writers if we just simply Network and don't feel ashamed that we're not big shot famous authors.Another thing I really enjoyed about this book; the author doesn't try to hit you with a sales seminar, a book, or of course, or private consultations on every other page. He could if he wanted too.

As a fellow author always looking for marketing ideas, this a great book to read. It feels like you are right next to a friend who is sharing their experiences to help you. Definitely recommend for writers who are series about their business.

Inspiring, yet lacks detailed guidance
The book offers an intriguing glimpse into the author's journey in the children's book market, but it misses the mark for those seeking practical, step-by-step advice. it primarily revolves around personal experiences rather than providing the in-depth strategies and tips I anticipated. The book's brevity was also a bit disappointing. In summary, this book is an interesting read for a general understanding of the author's success story but falls short for those looking for a comprehensive, practical guide.

Inspiring!
I really like this book. I read it in 2 days. David has provided lots of useful tips for budding children books authors. He tells of the things that work and those that don't. He is honest in his writing, witty and a real tonic for motivation. It has certainly given me confidence to keep writing and ultimately get some of my stories self published. Thank you David

Quick read, information packed, friendly writing style
I loved this book. The style is so chatty it was like talking with a friend over coffee. The author is just a lovely guy who wants to share what he knows and he does it beautifully - I learned a lot and really enjoyed learning it. Plus he doesn't sugar coat the information and talks about what failed for him as well as what succeeded. And he talked so much about his children's titles that I am really looking forward to reading them as well. Reading this book leaves you wanting to continue the friendship.
