After a style (with straightener and a lot of hair spray) and a wash, head still looks good. Not much shedding at all. See picture for all I got after the first wash and comb. I also did it with a straight cutting brush, not wet brush, as I was supposed to. She does have some short broken hair and some grays, as well as uneven ends, but it’s good for the price. I also think it’s not 100% human hair, because straightener sticks to it and it smells a little.

I'm obsessed with this mannequin. I've had quite a few different dolls in my career and she is by far my favorite. The hair is as described, definitely high density, as her scalp is not so visible like a normal mannequin. Perfect for updos! I felt the length was as described as well, and I haven't experienced any more shedding then is normal! Love that she has some shoulders as I can stand her up without having to use a stand all the time. Highlighted her and result was as expected so absoluetly real hair Great price too! Freaks my dogs out though!

I got “Violet”, the dark haired mannequin. We are using her for training and product explanation at Lice Clinics of America in Knoxville. Her hair is soft and easy to brush. One thing I’m noticing is that there is a lot of shedding when we comb using the lice comb. I’m not all that worried about it - she serves our purpose very well. I’d buy again if I needed another mannequin head. One thing to note is that the head size is smaller than an adult. I haven’t had any luck finding lifesize heads. This mannequin head is around the size of a 5 year old.

Density and delivery were as promised, but the hair is FAR from 24" in length. The pics show it measured from the very longest point on the head and it is about 16" at any meaningful density in the ends. I would return it except that I need it for an updo class this week. if you need a truly 24" mannequin for upstyling this is definitely not it. After a trim to create a solid line in the bottom, it is 16" at best.

Originally I was pleased, I felt the dolls hair and put the other one to the side. Today I was preparing my doll heads for their purpose, which is a school final where I am supposed to have to of the same doll heads and do a before and after service, but now I’m thinking I’m going to fail! I literally spent 900 on the first week of this semester on school supplies, I would hate to fail bc of my purchase. If I didn’t need these for MONDAY (it’s saturday) I would’ve definitely returned them. DO NOT PURCHASE if u need the doll head for a SHOW, FINAL or STATE BOARD rather than a at home styling toy(a synthetic fiber is cheaper for practice). Wouldn’t recommend!
