Unbelievable customer service!!!!
We recently received this puzzle to do as a family during the current stay at home orders due to the Coronavirus. We had purchased three new puzzles to keep us busy as we love doing puzzles together as a family. Its a great way to spend time together and our kids really enjoy them as well. Our first two puzzles we received and put together were missing one piece each and this was our third puzzle that we planned to do together. Needless to say we were hoping that this puzzle would have all of its pieces. Now I am not saying that these puzzles came with a piece missing, as it is conceivable that we lost one piece on each of the two previous puzzles. With three, sometimes four people working on the puzzles, the chance of a piece being stick to someones clothing or fore-arm is certainly possible. When we got to the end of this puzzle we were devastated to notice that we had one piece missing on this, our third puzzle in a row.I received an email a day or two after our puzzle was finished from the seller through Amazon, just wanting to check on how our order went and if we were enjoying our puzzle. Now with our first two puzzles that were missing one piece each, I just chose to let it pass as "bad luck" and didn't bother to reach out. Being that this was our third puzzle in a row with a missing piece, I took the email asking for my experience as an opportunity to let them know we had a missing piece. I frankly was not expecting a response, let alone from the seller directly.Mary Beth from Family Board Games responded immediately and offered some suggestions for finding the piece, which we had already tried short of looking in my dogs belly. She then went on to say that if I could send her a picture of the puzzle that shows the missing piece, they could look to see if they have a replacement piece to send to me. A glimmer of hope when all was seemingly lost!I sent her a picture of the puzzle area and was grateful for the effort, still not expecting to hear anything more. Again Mary Beth acknowledged that she was in receipt of my photo and email and would make every effort to find the missing piece. I was also aware that they, like many businesses were operating with limited staff during the coronavirus pandemic. I was also aware that there has been an increase in puzzle business during this time, so I am sure they were quite busy. Now I was starting to feel bad for asking them to look for my missing puzzle piece.Less than a week later we received a small envelope in the mail with our missing puzzle piece and my kids and I stood stunned in our kitchen looking at this incredible act of generosity. In a time when there are so many more important things to worry about, and everyday heroes in healthcare, service and support industries, I am cognizant that things like this should be put into perspective. But for my family Mary Beth and Family Board Games are heroes as well. Even in "normal" times, this level of support is sometimes hard to come by.Thank you Mary Beth and Family Board Games!! You have our business and gratitude for life.-Kevin

Many hours for Stay At Home Time
We are a Puzzle Family! We always have one going so searched for a new one to keep us distracted during the mandated Stay at Home order in our state. Great puzzle...large...covers our table. Very colorful with lots of patterns to help put it together. Only complaint is that there is no complete picture of the puzzle included. The box picture has hands on each end as if holding the puzzle...which obliterates part of the picture. On the east coast the “hand” covers up Rhode Island and others. Hard to complete if you don’t know what it looks like.

Use only if you have patience.
This puzzle put me to the test. It took me a month to complete it. Of course I did not work on it every day & when I did it would only be for an hour or two. Aside from that it was fun & a real challenge. I now can close my eyes & see where every State is located in the country. I think I may try for 500 piece puzzles going forward (this is 1000) but I do recommend this puzzle to die hard puzzle workers. Make sure to do it on an big table. I had a cardboard that I laid out on my table so I could move it if necessary. Quality good.

Hard!
I spend quite a bit of time conquering this one. I had to give it some thought before I could even begin. I became obsessed with it! If you like really challenging puzzles, this one is for you. Note the there is not real edge to start off with. Some of the pieces are teeny. The hands holding the puzzle make it impossible to see part of the puzzle. Tip: Start of with each state individually. I had to put little pieces of sticky notes on my work surface with the names of each state. TX is the hardest one. Have fun!

A great way to learn about the USA
I loved the bright colors of the puzzle. It was challenging and it took a little over a week to do it alone. The only problem with it was that the hands were in the way on the box. The pieces didn't really lock into place but rather just kind of laid in place. It was so intense and took my mind off of everything . . .every one that sees it says it is so beautiful. My guy loved it so much I had to leave it out for a week. He could not believe I did it all by myself. His hands were too big to help. Loved it! I would do it again!

Challenging
I like that the puzzle was challenging. The frustrating part was the picture on the box includes someones hands holding the finished puzzle. I rely on the picture while doing puzzles so having the top of Oregon hidden and an area of the east coast hidden was very frustrating. You should include a complete picture on the box or as a separate insert.

Really poor quality puzzle
My husband & I started doing puzzles when the quarantine started as something fun to do together while being stuck at home. Every other puzzle we have done came with a full-size poster of the picture on the puzzle to use as reference. This puzzle didn't have one. The only reference was the picture on the front of the box, and parts of the picture on the box was covered by someone's hands! And there are sections missing. For example, several of the northeast states are cut off. If you zoom in on the photo of the completed puzzle you'll see that the Y in New Jersey, the S in Massachusetts, and the UT of Connecticut are not even there. And on Florida, it shows a sea turtle & a couple of starfish, but on the actual puzzle, most of the turtle & neither of the starfish are on the puzzle. This puzzle is really poor quality. Don't waste your time. A huge pain in the a**, not fun & relaxing!
