This is really a great scent. But I can't smell the scent hardly at all inside the cube. Basically because its enclosed and not vented. You essentially have a closed cube. You turn it upside down to get the scent in the wooden top and the string. I got the string soaking wet until the point of dripping. You could smell it really good for a minute but when I got in the car the next morning you could barely smell it.Again, it is a fantastic scent but the container it is in, could not be worse for a car air freshener. I think marketing got too focused on the look, rather than it actually working. Looks much better than a little trees air freshener but doesn't work half as good and about 50 more times expensive. You would be better off spraying a shot of your existing cologne on a cotton swab and putting it under your seat. That would be easier to smell.

The product was missing the vent clip. Also the black rope to hang it was a shoelace with aglets and looked tacky so i had to cut the ends and melt them together.

When I first placed it into my vehicle after following the instructions, I could not even smell it. So, I took it upon myself to slightly loosen the cap and empty some onto it in hopes that the wooden cap would soak the fragrance up. After a couple minutes I could slightly smell the fragrance (maybe because I turned the A/C on, but it is the next day now and I can smell it when I open my vehicle door every time I enter it.Cons: Needs a better ventilation system.Pros: Smells great (sauvage mens cologne), stylish look, has a draw string for a conversion system so it could be placed almost anywhere (vehicle, office, home, shop, etc).Would I recommend this product, you ask?? Of course!!For the guys or gals looking for that fragrance change up compared to all the original smells you're used too, this.. or maybe even a different scent is well worth it with the fragrance alone.Is it worth the money?? I'll definitely have to keep ya'll updated to see how long it last for. But, a great buy so far indeed!!

The scent didn't last as long as they claimed it would. I do like that I can refill it with my favorite cologne.

Absolutely love these, they smell great, last around 2 months, and smell manly. My wife loves the way my car smells.

Smells good and very similar to my favorite cologne. It ran out pretty quickly though. If it were cheaper I would buy it again.

I love it on the way to the car I open all window and sunroof 5 feet away you can smell it if the wind is going your way. I just wish there was a bottle that we can buy because I’m running low. Plus it looks dope around your mirror people ask me what is that. I highly recommend it it never leak never fell down READ THE INSTRUCTIONS TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT lol

Some people need to learn to read instructions. This product is excellent if you do so. I've never had a problem with it leaking or coming undone and spilling everywhere. You HAVE to make sure that the cap is on nice and snug! Once it is turn it upside down until the rope it hangs from is good and saturated about an inch or two up it. Then just let it hang and enjoy! Repeat that step if the scent starts to be a little weaker as time goes on.

Great fragrance, so far into my 5th week and not finished yet, which is not bad as I have some diffusers last only 3 weeks.

I bought this product for my new car as I do approximately 24000 miles per year up and down the motorway. Six months later, the car still smells of the Sauvage aftershave! That’s impressive!

As intended in the car

After the hit and miss reviews I saw on this product and similar ones I was a bit sceptic about buying one. The air freshener is good, smells nice, looks good and does last despite other reviews. I’ve had mine 2 weeks now and there is about 1/3 of it left which considering the refills are approx 3 for £10 I don’t think 10 weeks of a really good air freshener for £10 is too costly not including the cost of the bottle and first fill. First, you don’t need to tighten the top too much, it’s soft wood so it will split which I suspect is what happened on some of the negative comments.I tip my air freshener upside down 2 or 3 times for 5-10 seconds each or until I see the oil seep out of the wooden lid slightly and I do this probably every 3 or 4 days.It smells great, it’s really a noticeable ‘manly aftershave’ smell when you get into the car and it isn’t too strong and it isn’t weak. I have my air freshener mounted to the fans and placed slightly lower in the fans so when I have the air con or heating on it blows across the top of the air freshener so it distributes the scent. Out of all honesty it’s great product, smells great, seems to last, looks good and I don’t know what else you can ask for out of a car air freshener. If mine broke for any reason, I’d be straight back on here buying another one which should speak for its’ self. Also, don’t pull the string tight before you tip it upside down or pull the plastic ring too close to the lid. Keep the string slack to fill the holes within the top and it shouldn’t leak. I’ve had no problems. Honestly, a really good product and a good purchase if you’re in the market for this.
