Medline MDS15211 Disposable Stainless Steel Surgical Scalpels, No 11, Pack of 10

I am a model railroader and these knives are ideal for fine trim and cutting work. The blade is very thin and much finer than other hobby knife blades. They last quite a while. For the price they a are great deal. I would recommend them!

What can I say other than an all around good disposable scalpel. It is not that I plan to do surgery on myself, or snyone else for that matter, it is for the times when you want a sterile blade to say get out a splinter or thorn that is in sideways and you cannot get a grip on it with tweezers. Lets face it, no knife, even steralized with alcohol, can be all that clean and in the boonies an infection is the last thing you need.

The scalpel are as expected. The problem is I ordered 2 boxes of #11 blades. And they sent 1 box #11 and 1 box of #10s. The #10s are unusable for me.

great for crafts

I use these for stuff around the house... the blades are sharp and if I mess one up, I can throw it away. Caution, the blades will break if you use these on tough materials. Otherwise, they are great for what I need them for.

When I worked as an RN I always had a box of scalpels for minor home surgeries.These are absolute shit.

Good to have in case I need to do any emergency surgery on my cell for loved ones.
