PEAK DESIGN LK-S-1 - Kit Lens for SONY

Used this at a wedding as I love shooting with mostly primes. This allowed me to keep shooting when the other photographer was continually running back to the table to swap lenses.

Parfait pour transporter mes optiques en bandoulière et ne plus avoir à les chercher dans un sac. Elles sont toujours avec moi, accessibles, et donc je gagne un temps précieux en tournage.Il faut prendre le temps et s habituer au sens des montures.L objet est solide, même pour un 70-200...

Je ne suis pas satisfait de ce produit. Alors qu’il est plutôt cher, je ne trouve pas qu’il soit qualitatif. En effet c’est un ensemble plastique peu robuste, mais surtout les optiques Sony ne sont pas parfaitement maintenue. Serte elles sont retenu et ne risquent pas de tomber (je l’espère), mais il y a un gros jeu qui fait que l’objectif tourne sur la fixation (pas très rassurant).Et surtout, et là pour le prix c’est prendre des gens pour des poires, le kit comme on le reçois ne contient pas la fixation permettant d’accrocher la bague à sa ceinture ou autre, le produit et donc inutile et il faut encore rajouter 70€ pour pouvoir s’en servir...Sans ça beau packaging et le produit semble garanti à vie.

Very good product to carry more lenses without looking in the bag. Wish I had it a year ago with I order my Sony camera and lenses.

Woo!-Made of strong materials, and fits right into the Peak Design ecosystem.CON:-possible tolerance issues, as explained below.-when attached to Capture, LensKit does not necessarily fit all lenses, due to varying thicknesses of lens barrel, inclusion of tripod collars, or width of lens hoods.In all cases, the LensKit shows quite a bit of slop and looseness at the mount. Lenses are able to rotate a little bit, and have a little gap between the lens bayonet and the LensKit. Not the most snug. It seems structurally sound, and I'm not concerned about the support, but I am concern about the intrusion of dust, moisture, etc. I tried checking the tension on the three screws on each side of the LensKit but they were plenty tight. I also checked the screws on each of my lenses. So far as I can tell, the problem is in the manufacturing tolerances. To be clear, this is my only real criticism of the product.Next point to make has to do with the LA-EA3 and LA-EA4. Both of them have significant protrusions below their respective bayonets. They will physically fit the LensKit, but only when in a particular orientation. They aren't especially compatible with LensKit attached to Capture. Similar kind of issue to having Tripod Collars attached. The LA-EA1 has no collision issues, as the tripod mount is removable.The E-mount caps provided to cover the LensKit bayonets, they're not locked in place by anything. They are free to fall out pretty easily. I use my camera setup on long hikes and expected the LensKit to be as solid as the Capture I frequently use. I'm finding it to be a bit looser in general.That said, I really like the idea. I think it works pretty well for narrower lenses. I had a bit of trouble with the sheer length of my Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G when the tripod collar and lens hood were attached. But that's a pretty huge lens. For smaller lenses, including my Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm F4, LensKit works great. Really great. Smoothest lens changes I've done in a while.
