Nature's WayGotu Kola - 180 Capsules/475 mg certified

I had a wound on my lower leg that did not seem to want to heal. I was unloading a truck that was very dirty and I bumped my leg. I didn't clean or even pay any attention to the wound until a few days later when I noticed it was looking a bit nasty. I then started to clean the wound and put over the counter ointment on it for a few days but the wound was not getting better.I went to the clinic and they gave me a stronger ointment but it still was not healing. The nurse at the clinic suggested that I take vitamins to help my body heal, so I got some vitamin C and zinc and ordered these based on an article I read somewhere on the web.I stopped putting ointment on the wound or really doing anything else to it. After a few days of taking these (one in the morning and one in the evening) I noticed that the wound seemed to be less irritated. I guess after about a week and a half the wound was showing big signs of improvement.It's been a couple weeks now and I'm just taking one a day and the wound has almost completely healed. I did take a B complex with vitamin C and a potassium with zinc with it so I can't say if these were the magic bullet by themselves, but my wound has almost completely healed and I'm very satisfied.

They do rigorous third party testing are GMP certified and go out of their way to make sure the customer gets what's labeled on the bottle and nothing else.This supplement is great for those people who are looking for a cognitive enhancer during episodes of stress. Seems to reduce the perception of stress and increase feelings of relaxation while at the same time promoting a focused mind. According to research articles, animal studies suggest anxiolytic properties when dosed at a higher level comparable to reference drug Diazepam. The stress reduction can occur acutely (may not require chronic usage) which makes this supplement very useful for certain situations.Gotu Kola has some studies that have published it's effect on increasing neuronal growth. Gotu Kola activates MAPKs which causes a release in growth factor for neurons referred to as Brain derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF). This takes a few weeks to work so be sure to take it on a daily basis. Why would you want more BDNF? I tried this for swelling in my feet and ankles from CVI. I started with 3 capsules a day, which worked like a champ. I added the Gotu Kola to my cocktail of Pine Bark Extract (pycnogenol), Horse Chestnut and Citrulline, so I'm not sure how much of the response is from all of the above or just the Gotu Kola. There was an immediate improvement the first day I added the Gotu Kola, but I haven't tried eliminating anything else, yet.This is not a standardized extract, so we don't know the concentration of asiaticosides. That is the reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5.

I originally purchased this because I had read that Gotu Kola can help keep you sharp and focused. I don't know if I feel any different in that regard, but this stuff has definitely helped to lower my anxiety levels.The dosage on the label is 2 capsules at a time, but I take only one and it seems to have the same effects. The only negative thing that I can say about this product is that I get a stomach ache if I take this without food. But I love to eat, so I'll take any excuse I can get to shove my face!In the end, your mileage may vary. Everyone's body chemistry is different; so what works for one may not work for another. But Gotu Kola is pretty inexpensive, so I suggest anyone looking for a mental boost, or help with anxiety give it a try!

I love this stuff and I take it everyday. If I don't sleep well which happens regularly, this product clears my head and I am able to focus for the day. And it does this gently with no side effects. Gotu Kola is one of those tonic herbs that is good for all sorts of bodily functions but this is what I use it for and it works extremely well. It is a keeper.

I've been taking this product for a week now and am unsure if I can feel any benifit or side effect from it yet. I can say the first time I took 2 (I started with just 1 a day) I felt a little light headed like kava would make me feel. Whether this works or not, I will keep taking it for the antioxidant properties. I will say that ginko helped me focus more than this at the beginning, but eventually stopped working and just gave me headaches. I'm also taking this so I don't have to go back to gingko.

I purchased this product to help with circulation in my legs. I run regularly but have noticed varicose veins behind my knees and decided to try this product. I have actually started to experience a lot of pain in my right knee that has a previous injury (ACL reconstruction 13 yrs ago) but I do not think it has anything to do with the supplement. I have been using this product now for about a month and nothing really stands out as a wow factor in regards to health improvements I can see or feel. The company that I ordered from shipped the product quickly and I was very satisfied with their service. I will update this post after I finish the bottle.
