Cathedral Art CO621 In Loving Memory Angel Photo Frame, 2-3/4-Inch

The pewter frame itself is nice. It appears well made, has pretty detailing and is quite heavy for such a small piece. The rest of it is a different story. The two clips that hold the photo and backing in place looked sturdy but they were stuck. I couldn't slide them with my thumb or fingers, I tried with great care and delicacy to slide them over by securing the frame so it wouldn't move and using the edge of a small, flat metal tool to make it slide to the side so I could remove the backing and insert the photo. Tried using the tool to lift the clip just slightly but that didn't work either. Didn't want to force it too much and break it so but it took a lot of fiddling. It remained extremely tight against the backing but I finally got it to slide just enough to get the backing off. I was unpleasantly surprised to find an extremely thin piece of flimsy colorless plastic protecting the stock photo inside instead of a thin piece of glass. The backing is very cheaply made but acceptable. I bought 3 of these and the backing on one was warped and the fake fabric stuff was wrinkled like lava at the top of it. I filed it down with my nail file and made it work. At $30 each I expected much better quality than what I got.

I like the size of the "In Loving Memory" ornament however it comes with no protective plastic screen to protect the photo. Not only does this leave the photo susceptible for scratching and damage, but it makes it near impossible to get your photo to fit the slot made for it since you have nothing to use to trace over the photo to make sure it fits the slot appropriately and the faces look centered, etc. I had to cut through THREE photos to get it just right. Quite pricey for this.

This is a very nice ornament/item. My mother recently passed away and it was very comforting to have this "memory" hanging on the front of our Christmas tree. I was able to talk to her and remember past Christmas when looking at our tree.

Love these as ornaments to include photos of loved ones who have passed away in the XMas tree.

Bought one for each if my family members with a photo of our late mom. Everyone agreed it was the best gift ever!
