Great value! Great tasting water!
I’ve seen some negative reviews on this and I can’t imagine why. This is my second max water RO unit. My first one I had for about 10 years. I decided to go with the 10 stage to get minerals back in the water. The water is absolutely amazing. Better than any bottled water you can buy. The price on this is great too.

Terrible Product - Headache
I have used Max Water for years but tried to get a new system. BUT be careful as this one without a booster pump, has very low PSI and a hard time refilling the tank. I am connected to city water so the pressure is fine there - its the filtration device. Also the alkaline filters and ionization filters seem to alter the taste too much for my liking and make the water cloudy. I have an ionization filter from another brand as a standalone by itself and this compared to that is 10x worse ( I have been using that for over 5 years). This is my honest answer - I have used RO systems for over 15 years.

Most affordable product RODI unit with easy adjustments.
Although I have to make a few adjustments to make the water taste better, it is still worth it.The adjustment include the followings:1. Replace all carbon filter to prevent the water taste like carbon. Replace the 2 carbon filters in the clear container with two 1 micron sentiment filters to filter more metal ions out. (carbon filter does not really filter metal ions). Replace the 3 carbon filters in the white container with another DI unit filter to filter more metal ions out before the water get to the faucet. (a sentiment filter cost about $10, replace the 5 micro sentiment filter every month to reserve the life of the DI filter and RO filter, the carbon filter actually cost about $20 per one and is useless to filter metal ions) (the TDS reading come out to be about 0 at the beginning, after one month use before replace the 5 micro sentiment filter, the TDS reading is 6, after replacement, go back down to 3)2. Replace the metal faucet with a food grade plastic faucet to avoid metal ion contamination when water going through the faucet.3. Buy a 1/2 inch RO water female adapter or connector to connect the food grade plastic faucet to the filter system. The two 1 micro sentiment filter cost about 10 per each, and the Extra DI unit cost 22, the water adaptor cause about $10 for 6 of them, the plastic faucet cost about $13. The entire system after adjustment is about $215. More importantly, all the replacement filters are available online to buy. I saw some other systems that has no replacement filter available for specific filters. Please boil the water before drinking anyway, no matter what water filter a person use, water must be boiled to get rid of other unknow staff. The water taste like sweat clean spring water after boiling without adding sugar. The TDS reading was 165 before using the entire filter system.I only write reviews about a product after a period of use, (especally a water filter system), this review was written after 6 months of use. No leaking at all.

Horrible di resin
I have had this filter for under two months and the first 4 stages work good and provides good drinking water but the di resin has already shrunk 1/4 of the way down and does not remove any tds do to the water has created a channel in the di filter.

Was missing parts and refused to fix the issue with me sending the parts
Just not really quality material you shouldn’t have to use plumbers tape on every twist

Can't go wrong
Excellent product was easy to install, water taste's great. Time will tell the longevity of the unit. I was short two retainer clips for the compression fittings but was able too substitute with a paper clip bent in a C shape.
