I bought this last minute when I went camping for the first time in 15 years and there was a burn ban of charcoal and wood fires. To be honest, despite the great video I didn’t have high hopes but I figure it was better than camping without a fire. I was HAPPILY surprised to discover this unit is everything it claims to be. It looked like a real wood fire and put off heat - without smoke. Plus it was convenient to start and stop when we wanted. No staying up late to ensure the fire burned out. Lightweight and portable - the unit is perfect for camping, the beach, etc. The one thing you MUST know is that sometime it takes a few attempts to ignite. Do NOT leave the knob ON for very long if it doesn’t light immediately. Turn it OFF! Or the gas will build and once it does ignite you will have a fireball. If you follow this advice you will enjoy this fire pit for years to come. I LOVE it!

Initial impression, as it just arrived and I used it once so far: A wonderful, portable, sturdy, easy to use, easy to light firepit. I used it on our covered deck on a small table, then placed it on the deck itself. Both were fine. Heat had dissipated enough anove so the vinyl deck ceiling was unaffected in both cases. Plenty of heat for four people to comfortably sit around without crowding. I didn’t bother using the built-in sparking lighter, as they are often problematic (my gas fireplace!), and this burner is so easily accessed with a gas candle lighter. Was shocked the flames were so large, as my gas fireplace with fake logs only produces a small impressive, unrealistic flame. Very happy with this portable, easy to use, impressive device.Thanks, Bond!

Bang for the buck it’s a great value. We have a seasonal site for our RV, and because of dry conditions haven’t been able to have a campfire. It has been exceptionally dry here and there is a burning ban on place. The wife always hates the smoke that chases her around the normal campfires, so I got this to surprise her. It’s worked out great. We usually run it on low, and a 20# tank lasted us 4 nights, with one of those nights being a really, really long night. The lid locks in place easily and we just wrap up the hose around fire pit when not in use. Easy to use, easy to keep neat and tidy when not in use. The locking lid is super easy, and likely a lot easier than the nylon covers that other modes have. It looks nice and clean when not in use. Compared to the prices of the other ones available, I feel we got a fair deal. Wife lives that there’s no smoke......I miss that for cooking brats and what not....adds to the flavor. On a side note, we have used this and it works well for s’mores, but haven’t and probably won’t use for grilling other greasy foods (brats, cheddarwurst etc.) that would make a mess on it.

Used the fire pit for the first time on a camping trip to the Oregon coast this summer and it worked great. The weather was cool and damp so it was nice to get warmed up quickly especially in the morning when we didn't want to make a wood fire. Also in the evening when we got back to camp and it was too late to make a wood fire. The fire pit looks nice and has good flames even on low. The gas hose is long enough to have the gas tank at the edge of the camp mostly out of sight. I also got the Outland gas tank cover so you don't notice the tank at all. The only down side is the gas will make a hissing sound when its on high but like I said it has good flames even on low.

This fire pit looks great, produces perfect flames and good heat. But one of the main reasons I chose this one was for the auto ignite and it almost never works. It’ll work MAYBE one in five times, and that is after trying it over and over. It never starts the first time. Really disappointing. A friend has the bigger Bond and his igniter works great.

For years I have hauled wood when I went camping. Since many campgrounds in Florida no longer allow wood burning, I decided to try this propane fire pit. I love it. Although it does not produce as much heat as a roaring wood fire, it produces plenty even on low. You can set close to it without worrying about a wind gust blasting smoke and ashes in your face. Setting down wind from this propane fire pit is actually the best place for maximum heat without the burning eyes from wood smoke. Produces plenty of heat to roast hot dogs or marshmellows. Instead of hauling a pile of wood, I now take a 20# tank of propane for my fire pit and grill. Locking lid makes packing it very easy. Great product at a very reasonable price.

After looking at more than 10 different fire pits each of the last 2 years. This thing has a nice brushed finish of bronze/black. Simple instructions and easy control had us up and running in 10 min. Nice long gas line hose to keep the tank away from the pit. ( However it always could be better if it was longer yet!) The control knob does a nice job with flame level and you can really get it going tho, on lower settings it worked fantastic. What really made this the one was it is the only fire pit to offer a metal lid with a handle that locks onto the fire pit. to help avoud spilling the damn rocks all over when moving to another location. Much better than the web handles some others provide. ( and loose or melt) The Nice stainless steel burner provides even flame even without rocks. it even comes with a 20 lb tank stand. This has impressed us so much that this is the 2nd one of them we purchased. It is durable enough to sit with lid on outside yet a simple twist of the lid, turn on the propane, and lite it up. So, buy it. You WILL enjoy your new fire pit!

Just arrived this week. Had a couple hours to spare last night and it was a calm night so thought I'd give it a spin - setup was quick, everything worked great and I was enjoying heat in no time. The look and build quality exceeded my expectations, excellent value at this price point. Much classier looking than most propane pits I've seen. I'm going to get a lot of use out of this, particularly throughout the pandemic!

Like this model! Works great throws heat nicely. Has a built in ignitor. Uses a lot of propane however. I do recommend for those backyard fire nights! And can roast marshmallows on it!

Simple assembly, easily portable and puts out a lot of heat.

I love it with fire bans being on most every summer here in BC it is awesome for camping or just hanging around the yard! It throws great heat as well! Feel it was a great purchase! Looks good too!
