The Official LaStone Therapy Manual

If you need to know the history of hot stones massage and some of the fundamentals it will do that. However, you will have to get through all the touchy feely stuff and self promotion by the author in that way North Americans do so well. I found this distracting and irritating. It would have been better to let the technique speak for itself. If you are into animal spirits then you will probably love it.

I bought the book for a pending course, the content of the book is great, very detailed with clear pictures. The start is quite spiritual and lengthy, but the book is informative. A good purchase that I will continue to refer back to after the course.However, what I was disappointed with was the condition of the book, some pages appeared discoloured at the top as if the book had been left in bright light. The book did not appear new as stated in advert, there were also scratches across the cover.

Good book and practical information although at the beginning it almost put me off continuing with this particular therapy, when I seen Mammy and daddy stones and little mischievous stones hiding etc... I did roll my eyes and think oh god what have I chosen here, but it did turn out to be useful as time progressed. Not much of the book is covered in the course. rather random chapters and paragraphs from it and some of the techniques also are not used. but thats the difference with course providers I guess not the author
