This unit works perfect! I assembled it by my self except for the heavy cross beam that sits on top. It takes two to stand it on end but then I'm 59 years old. Once the beam is standing it's very easy to hook up to the trailer. I have not found anything it will not split. The engine runs well and is easy to start. It is quieter than my mower an does a great job. The engine is American made by Liquid Combustion Technology in South Carolina. Their web site is: [...]I put a 2" ball on my lawn tractor and pull it to where it is needed. Large sections of wood can be split in the vertical position without problems. Not sure what else to tell you except I'd buy it again.

Easy to understand assembly instructions
Easy to understand assembly instructions, easy to assemble, easy to use AND it splits stringy wet white fir just on idle. Four cords took less than two gallons. Love it.

Does the job nicely! I like the way they included a step by step video of how to assembly the unit made it a lot easier.I had a little problem at the start because one of the parts had a problem, but I called the phone # in the manual andthey sent a replacement part right away. Unit has to be warmed up in the cold climates for a while before getting startedbut so far I'm "Happy" with the product.

Nice splitter
The assembly took a bit longer and the main beam was heavier than expected. We rented an engine hoist to pick it up. The vertical operation of the splitter is smooth and steady.. We have split white and red oak, walnut, cherry, apply and maple with good results.

Awesome Machine!!!
This is one heavy duty machine. My son-in-law has a $7,000 splitter with all kinds of bells & whistles. But this one works great. I'm amazed at how big a log it can easily handle. Just make sure you have help putting it together. It is HEAVY!!!

Does the job
a spring came off took a bit to figure out the problem, finally got it going. Scratched up a bit but it is a log splitter.

easy to use
great splitter, the log cradle makes this so easy to use. only negative is that when you start up after the engine is warm it takes a few extra pulls to get it started.

Non finer
Split a full cord of 24" oak the first day we got it. Took 3 hours. Set/up for one person was easy. It's well balanced to hook on trailer. Wish. It had a 4 way wedge option. It certainly has the power. Started on first pull every time. Liked the fact there were no fenders to get in my way while working. Suggest you wear orange gloves.
