Great way to dry bags
I have owned one of these for decades, so when I moved back to Australia I was happy to purchase another. They topple a little too easily for my liking, but if you are careful with that, they are an excellent way to dry bags after washing. Be careful to keep the underside of the base dry, or allow it to dry completely if it becomes wet. Larger bags I spread over several spokes to keep the bag open and aid the drying process.

Reusable ziplock bags and bag dryer are perfect!
The bags are thick and ziplock works great. I also bought a drying tree since the bags are reusable and washable. Everything is sturdy and better than I anticipated. I think the bags will be durable. I just started using them. The drying tree is so much better than other bag dryers i looked at, which are only a few inches tall. This is tall enough to hold the bag with several inches between the end of the bag and the counter surface. Over 1 foot tall. Very stable.

I seriously love everything about this dryer. I use it to recycle/reuse baggies.
I don't need this for bottles. Years ago, I saw one in a friend's kitchen. She was using it to recycle zip lock style baggies. It's always grated my nerves to throw away a perfectly good baggie that's been used once and is barely dirty. What a waste of plastic AND money!I remembered hers - just a random thought - and found it here. I was positively gleeful! I ordered it immediately. Now it gets constant use in my kitchen. I wash the inside and outside of baggies with hot water and soap. Then rinse and hang them to dry on one or two of the prongs, depending on the baggie size. They dry quickly and thoroughly. Then they go back into the drawer for reuse until they die a natural death, when they are finally tossed. I just feel so much better about that! The product itself is ingenious. Sliding the disk down opens the prongs. It actually looks a bit like a sculpture when it's sitting out. There's a little metal eyelet at the top so you can hang it up, but mine lives in a drawer. Pushing the disk up brings the prongs together and turns the whole thing into a compact package that doesn't get tangled up in things. It's easy to clean, too, since it really only dries clean things. I just make sure it's dry before I put it away.At the rate we use baggies, I believe this will pay for itself MANY times over. I simply can't say enough about how happy I am to finally have one of my own! There's absolutely nothing negative I can say about it.Thank you for reading my review. Attractive, works, saves plastic bags for multiple uses
Not a very complicated product, you're thinking, right? And who needs a wooden-fingered stand that simply holds an upside-down plastic sack, right? And it costs 20 bucks...hmmm... You're thinking you'd never spend 20 bucks when you could just dry your bags with a towel. Or throw them away once you've used them. But wait--this really is a good product and worth the money. Wash the bag, hang it on the wooden dryer and you've just saved a plastic bag from a landfill for as many times as the bag holds up. This holder doesn't take up much space, it's nicely made and it's low tech. A very pleasant thing to have on your counter.
