Fun book
My son loves transformers but also grew up loving my little pony with his sister. This was a fun book to purchase for him to combine the two. We enjoyed reading through

Ponies and Transformers!
It's the best of both "dimensions"! great find, and I'm happy I finally got it. Albeit, some of the story is not to my liking, I can tell hard work was put into this. GG

A great follow-up to a great crossover!
Just like the first Transformers and My Little Pony crossover, this one did a great job bringing together the worlds of both franchises. I think the final battle with the Autobots, the Decepticons and the Ponies against the comic's big bad was my favorite part and the cherry on top for this epicly sweet crossover. If you're a fan of both franchises and loved the first crossover, I recommend that you give this a read. You will not be disappointed!😉

Similar to the first one
Similar to my review of the first one, it’s fun, but rather than a single grand story, it’s just a bunch of short stories with a lot of bazaar interactions and characters acting very out of character

Nothing much more than the first volume, basically a rehash in a new setting.
As one of IDW's biggest name crossover series, from a standpoint of a fan of both MLP and TF--I have to say this series is quite disappointing. It's ambitious and has a stellar crew of their biggest writers and artists, but the whole concept falls flat by basically being several separate team-up stories (likely each individual issue), rather than a single unified story that progresses through six issues of a mini-series.To have truly done justice to such a crossover, IDW could have taken the route of one volume being a unified story with the other being individual team-up stories. Or other side stories from this universe (as DC had done with big name crossovers such as "The Blackest Night" and "Flashpoint").But if all you want to do is see 'Ponies working with Transformers--then this volume (and the first one) will be right up your wheelhouse.Addendum: Children will probably enjoy this book more than adults (like me) who might be reading it, because they'll just be excited at their favorite characters in action together. Adults might enjoy the nods to famous moments in each of the franchises, both in lines and visuals. These are purely for-fun team-ups, just don't expect a coherent thread of story in it.

Great story - horrible product quality
[This is copied from my other review for a TF / MLP crossover comic as they have the same issues] While the story in this comic is great (my kids love it), the product quality is the worst trade paperback I have ever purchased (actually equally worse with the other TF / MLP crossover I purchased at the same time). I’ve had the book just over a month and pages are falling out. Either bad glue or bad construction. Do not buy unless you wish to leave it on a shelf and never read it.

A bit of fun
‘The Magic of Cybertron’ is the second crossover between these two leading Hasbro franchises. The first, ‘Friendship in Disguise’, featured several Autobots and Decepticons being dragged to Equestria through the magic of the Changeling Queen, Chrysalis, interacting with a Cybertronian spacebridge. The sequel reverses this in a weird sort of ‘cultural exchange’ by having the ponies arrive on Cybertron after Shockwave re-opens the spacebridge in an effort to steal and use Equestria’s magic. The general plot idea is that in their efforts to obtain magic the Decepticons inadvertently resurrect Sombra, an evil unicorn thought destroyed by the Mane Six. With designs on ruling both Equestria and Cybertron, Sombra uses his sorcery to possess multiple Autobots, Decepticons and ponies. This is an omnibus of the four issues of the comics and thus consists of eight short stories. The structure is the same as that of the first series. The first strip establishes the above scenario and that the ponies, Autobots and Decepticons not enslaved by Sombra must work together to defeat him. The next six stories are various incidences of this happening whilst the final one resolves matters. For the most part, therefore, the six episodic parts work reasonably independently, with each focussing on a self-contained event and featuring its own cast. The general set up allows for some different combinations to that of the first series, which essentially involved Autobot and pony teams clashing with Decepticons. It serves as a good excuse to have Decepticons and ponies working together, including such fun combinations as Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts with Starscream and the Seekers. However, the most enjoyable combination is the only one carried over from the previous series, that of Spike and Grimlock. There’s a good array of characters. As you might expect, the Mane Six and some of the most famous Transformers have some prominence. However, with Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy serving as Sombra’s minions some lesser known characters from ‘My Little Pony’ get substantial roles. Meanwhile, the Transformers contingent is taken from across the various continuities and includes characters, for example, from Cyberverse and Prime.Like the first crossover, this is very much a ‘My Little Pony’ comic in terms of tone and style rather than a Transformers one. It’s fun and frivolous and more about amusing interaction and in-jokes. The overall plot is really just a device to facilitate this. So, if you want some silly escapism in short episodic shots, then this is it.
