1 year and still going strong!
The eye bolts are still anchored in strongly after 1 year of kids flipping over, twisting, piling in, reading, etc. The adults have used it some too, but mostly my kids. We used this product set to anchor into a pine tree and the corner 4x4 post of our kid's fort! I originally thought we needed a free spinning attachment to prevent stress on the tree anchor point (still installed in tree picture), so I originally rated this with 4 stars, believing they hadn't included everything needed. However, after using it for a year I have found that the spinner never turns, rather the rope movement, and the joint between the eye bolt and carabiners provides sufficient movement. We plan to uninstall those extra pieces and use them elsewhere.Picture of installation from June 23, 2019 shows you'll need a big screw driver or strong metal pole to insert into the eye and crank that thing in deep. This is my teen helping for a few turns, my husband finished it.

Absolutely wonderful!
I never used the lag hooks, but I did use the clips. Since I was drilling into the side of a 2x6 on the underside of my deck, the hook in this package was way too large and would have compromised the integrity of the wood beam. I purchased much smaller ones at the local hardware store (325lbs) to hang each of the chair hammocks we bought. This is overkill as far as hanging a hammock. I did not read and understand the description as I should have, but this was my first time doing this.Even though I did not use the complete set, the customer service, follow up, and overall communication of this company is above and beyond which is why I gave this 5 stars. Absolutely wonderful!

Cheaper than the hardware store and more reliable!
I couldn't find what I needed at the local hardware store without breaking the bank ($10-$15 for one eyelet screw that wasn't welded at the loop). Found these here on Amazon and couldn't be happier!! These are super heavy duty eyelets welded at the loop and carabiners. I live in an older apartment built in the 1940's and have hollow walls with plaster, so finding a wall stud was out of the question. So I drilled through the door casings at opposite ends of my bedroom and bingo, solid all the way through. Screwed them in and hung my hammock and it's solid as a rock. So if you're in the need for hardware to hang up a hammock around the house or on the back porch these are what you need at an affordable price. Rock solid product.

Very sturdy but a little pricey
A little pricey for what you get. But otherwise, it seems to be very well made and is extremely sturdy. To drive the screws all the way into a 2 X 12 beam required a 4-foot pipe placed over a steel rod. I used it to hang a child's swing. This hardware is probably overkill for that application. Anyway, great product, just a little pricey.

Yay
I used these in ceiling joists to hang a yoga swing. I haven't fallen on my face yet or ripped out the ceiling so that's nice. You will need a 5/16" drill bit and some long sturdy thin pole to screw it in all the way. And maybe a stud finder.

Very strong & high-quality kit, but....
Extremely solid pieces; very sturdy. No issue installing into trees (read directions for proper drill bit size!) and holds up our 2-person fabric hammok perfectly. But, the shipping was wicked slow--around 2 weeks! I learned that you can basically get all these parts from a HomeDepot or Lowes... so had I known that I would have just done that and not waited so long for this. Also probably cheaper to get from a hardware store too. A heads up for the next person. But it is a good kit.

These are very strong eyebolts. I hung four hammocks ...
These are very strong eyebolts. I hung four hammocks on our deck and these are so thick that I am very confident of the hammock hang. My only complaint is with the carabiner - there are some tiny rough spots on the edges of the metal clip when it is open, so must be very careful not to snag the hammock strap threads when I connect or take the hammock down. I will try to smooth those rough places with a metal file to minimize excess wear on the hammock straps.

Carabiners can come undone
On a slightly windy day, the hammock spun around several times and somehow the carabiner came undone and the hammock swung around and wrapped itself around my wife. As I watched this happen, I initially thought it was pretty funny until I realized that the carabiner had smacked my wife hard enough to leave a carabiner shaped welt on her leg. I am not sure how this happens but it has happened twice now. I think the a rubber/plastic sleeve might help the carabiner from opening up.
