Kingpin: An Enemies to Lovers College Romance (Court University Book 2)

I enjoyed Kingpin, have enjoyed all the Court series. Typically finish the books in 1 - 2 days. I like the little visits of the other characters too.**spoilers ahead**The only thing I didn’t enjoy was what happened between LJ and Billies mum - gave me serious ick!! I just couldn’t get my head round it, it wasn’t even an issue between them. I kept imagining the awkward Christmas’s and family gatherings. Just no, no, no!So to get round the cringe I liked to imagine that they were both too drunk that night and nothing happened…Looking forward to reading Jax book next!!

Aww who knew Lj had a sweet an caring side. I mean at first he was a grade a d!©K. But they came through in the end. Even if they faced crime bosses, crazy exs. I'm glad they had thier happily ever after. Right now I'm off to read about jax now. Many more sleepless nights reading.

I have enjoyed LJ & Billie’s story and didn’t realise what LJ had gotten himself in to when Knight briefly mentioned it in his story.It’s great seeing each of the Court boys finding their lives but damn why the have to be so mean at times is just wrong.I can already see Jax is going to be so mean in his story, also wondering if we will get a Dasha & Niko book ?

I really enjoyed this story LJ was such a ass i didn’t think he was like that from the previous books but he came good in the end.

I tried but couldn't like the story at all. He's just too gross and she isn't exactly great. Spoiler alert.. the whole mum bit was just too much and although I tried to see past it, I couldn't. I read past this in an attempt to finish but in the end DNF. I really regret spending my time on this and the money. Glad to see some people enjoyed it anddont feel like it was a waste of energy but it's not for me.

I loved this book, lots of really good key moments and twists. I did feel the ending was slightly rushed and that we could have had more of a build up to the Sinclair episodes. I loved the characters and have read the previous books in the series.

So, here goes. I received this book as an advanced copy for my honest review.Kingpin is the second book in the Court series. It can be read as a stand-alone but they’re SO good you’ll want to read them all!! This book is sexy AF, it has the perfect amount of angst and sexual tension between the MCs. LJ starts of as the guy you hate, he’s cocky, arrogant and he doesn’t give a damn. Billie is settled, she has a boyfriend, her studies and then she meets LJ.This book has some twists that you just don’t see coming. It ticks all the boxes. I think I’ve found my favourite in this series. Definitely worth a read 💙 now I can’t wait for book 3.

Neighbours LJ and Billie dont hit it off from the get go & that in itself kicks off a game of wills between the two of them. More so when Billie's job & their way of rubbing each other up the wrong way come to a head. Which escalates into something more. The drunk email Billie sent LJ and her boss made me crack up. LJ is the definition of a confident, cocky, a bit of a p**t but you still cant help but like him. Big up to Niko though (liked him). The Blonde & The Brunette conversation on the sofa..............swoon. For a minute there i was secretly hoping Billie would get both guys but that was only in my pervy mind lol. Still we definitely need more Niko!!! Anyway Kingpin is just another fab book in the Court University series. Im loving this series so much so far. LJ and Billie's book was a totally great read. Counting down the days for Jax's book now
