Easy to understand book with clear instructions for the crochet newbie

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the book inside, the cover leads you to believe it would be more colourful. That said it does explain the various crochet stitches as required. I just expected it to be a little better for the price!

A very basic book about crochet. Some of the diagrams showing how to crochet are good, all the rest is fairly poor. The first forty pages or so are introducing crochet and this seems like it's there as a filler. Disappointed, I have returned it.

Do not get this if you are a beginner really hard and not easier than knitting in my opinion

Heard such a lot about this book I can crochet squares and thought this would help me crochet other things. It didn’t help one bit.I can usually follow and read tutorials but this was not helpful
