Sooo soft
This is the softest quilt I’ve ever had. The backing has a silky quality to it. It is comfy. The colors are beautiful. The patriotic design is perfect for what I was looking for. AND the price is fantastic! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Awesome quilt!
I highly recommend this beautiful quilt. To address other reviewers' concerns plus other thoughts: It washed very well per directions with no color bleeding or shrinking. It is very soft, not at all stiff. It is quite lightweight, which is fine but you'll want an additional blanket in cold weather. It IS a real quilt because it is made like a quilt with fluffy material between two layers of fabric and stitching all over to hold the 3 layers together. For the price, of course it's printed squares and not squares sewn together! This doesn't detract from its beauty. That said, you may be disappointed if you intend to use it with the blue with white stars side of the quilt facing up. It looks like there was some sort of thin fabric used as a template to stitch the quilting design. There were little pieces of this stuck in the stitching on the back only. They could be tediously cut or picked away. On the back only there were a few tiny white spots that look like there's no blue dye and one spot with a small knotted up bunch of thread. See photos. The top side is perfect. I'm extremely happy with this quilt and just bought another for a spare in case something happens to this one.

Printed, not patchwork
It is a good weight and the color is vibrant. It is important to note this is a printed quilt and not an actual patchwork quilt.

What I needed
I got two of this set for the twin beds I have for my grand sons. I have the room decorated with early American history art and a Betsy ross flag and a Join or Die flag from Pennsylvania. This quilt is light weight. It is not a patchwork quilt. Just a light weight comforter and matching pillow sham. I think the price was right and the look was what I wanted.

Plain blue, no stars.
False advertising. Quilt has no stars on the backside just plain blue other than that great quilt for summer
