Written with kids in mind, wish I would have ordered it sooner
We watch our 9 & 5+ year old great grandsons. We enjoy reading with them and this was a perfect opportunity to learn more about manners. This book is written with kids in mind, to catch and keep their attention and learn at the same time. Our 9-year-old sat and enjoyed reading, the busy 5+ year old was doing his own thing in the next room; I wasn't sure if he was listening or if he could hear. My granddaughter called later that evening and said our little busy boy was talking about manners and what he should and shouldn't do! LOL! One thing he told her was he had to get a tissue for his nose because it wasn't nice to wipe on his clothes! Gotta love this little guy, he always surprises us! Reading level was more 8–9-year-old and up but was perfect for read to for our almost 6-year-old.

Great addition to my library
Great book! The author did a great job teaching manners in a way that is engaging and comical yet still helpful. When it first came in the mail, my daughter saw it and wasn't interested in reading it. Then the other day I found her reading it. Now she says she likes it. I wish more kids would read it. Adults too!

Kids think it’s funny.
Bought this for one of my great granddaughters for her 9th birthday. My son said they had a lot of fun reading it and that her eleven year old brother and her laughed a lot. I hope some of the ideas soak in. A funny way, not preachy on practicing goid manners.

Self confidence booster for kids!
This book is great as it covers a wide range of different scenarios and life situations. From bathroom behaviors to the internet, to using a phone, this covers practically every area a growing kid needs to learn somewhere, somehow. This book is easy for every learning style, as you can either read it front to back, or you can flip around and get bits at a time. I really love the casual feel of it, as well as how it doesn't come across as 'nagging' or critical of them, as a person. This will boost their self confidence as they'll feel more sure of what to do in almost each situation! Highly recommend this, as a mom and a former preschool teacher! I even recommended it on my author page on fb! Well done!

Fun reading
I bought this for my 7 year old grandson, and when he first saw it was not impressed. Asked him to give it a chance, and we've had lots of fun and laughs and learned some manners too.

Just OK.
I have a 4 year old so I was a bit premature getting this book. It is for older kids, like maybe 8. It does address many of the things kids need to learn but people don't talk about. There are pages on Burps, farts, power words and P.U. words. How to politely decline food that looks yucky More on interrupting, hosting and guesting. Lots of good practical tips. I recommend it for older kids. It's the kind of thing they should read themselves not have a parent read it to them. It is written clear and to the point without a lot of goofy stuff. There are illustrations that add a little zest to the point.

My 10yr old son is polite to outsiders but not so great at home, this book is done with a sense of humor to it and my son said he actually learn't something inbetween laughing at things in it, it has some pictures to which inhance what is being said but in a funny way. Fun to sit and read together as it it more one liner type book rather than "boring paragraphs" with some great advice on manners and not just saying please and thank you's i.e. farting etiquette and how to talk to family members, it is easy to pick up and put down when needed.
