I was looking for a handle holder for my large cast iron skillet so that I could pick up the heavy cast iron with both hands comfortably. This works. BUT, it could be a lot better. My main issue with this is that it is loose (likely to be able to fit a variety of handles) and will not always stay on while cooking and moving the skillet around. My solution is to leave it off to the side and only put it on when I am needing to pick it up with two hands. I believe there is a solution to this problem, if anyone out there is willing to make a superior product. The solution would be a product that has some sort of clasp that can latch through the hole of the assist handle. If it were a fabric type assist handle holder, I imagine a velcro strap would solve the problem. For the silicone ones, I am sure there is some sort of strap contraption that could be created. I have done a fair bit of research on this and do not believe a product like this exists.

This is my second purchase. Very useful when you have lodge skillets. These provide good grip and excellent heat shielding. Would recommend them to anyone who is buying or bought a lodge skillet. They do fit other saucepans too

It fitted not only the handles of my Lodge Cast Iron Pan but it also fitted the handles of my Lodge Dutch oven (Enameled coated medium - large sized pot). Excellent!
