It works but the failure point is too easy to hit.
I like this product because of how quiet it makes the strings on contact. What i do not like is what happened to me about 1 week into owning it: i mishit the ball and the ball hit the end of the dampener...the little plastic hook snapped off and that dampener is now trash. So if you're hitting pretty hard and the ball sneaks down a little too far, this style of worm dampener can break.

Works great!
Works well as intended!

Hook breaks
The hook will eventually break. It is a shame because it does dampen the shock when striking the tennis ball until it breaks.

Only dampener I use
Love Gamma dampeners. Use them on all my racquets. Did have one that the plastic end was broken upon arrival but have not had any issues with breakage during play and have used for years. Just dont overstretch them. They really dampen the sound but still give feedback when hit well or a misfit.Easy to put on. Wish they a version that was slightly shorter for some racquets that are narrower at the bottom of the racquet.
