A+ mending experience
This tape is seriously awesome. I recently bought an out-of-print book from the 1960s (hardcover, in 2 volumes) with spines that were pretty crumbled and starting to detach. Half an hour with this tape, sharp scissors, and a bone folder, and the covers now seem like they'll hold up for another 60 years. Minimum. It sticks firmly to both the faux leather covers and the endpapers, and is incredibly moldable. The spines had that fancy gilded tooling kind of thing on them, and the tape molded to the design so well that it's visible in the cloth. I'm so impressed. Well worth every penny!

Excellent Product for Quick, Good Looking spines
I have used these tapes for the bindings of old leatherette photograph cases, small books, and now larger yearbooks. I must say it works the best for smaller and lighter items for which it is sold in more narrow overall widths. It looks nice and holds for bigger books. But likely not as long-tern durable due to weight of item pulling at it. Plus, on old dry covers, the texture tends to flake off to the glue of these tapes and weakening adhesion. Thus, powdery, textured, or flaking book covers are not as successful. A slick, smooth cover takes the tape best. Overall, for price & looks, these tapes are a WINNER!

Worked perfectly for what I needed
My desk chair has a broken arm. I tried another tape for it, which was horribly sticky, and peeled off after a time. After a tedious time of getting all the sticky off - and then off my hands -- I tired this new tape. It went on likek a dream. It sticks well to itself and my chair, but not to my hands. With a matte finish, it looks much better too. So glad I found this.

This has become my go to that I use making all kind of journals for myself. It is easy to use, goes on smoothly an looks so clean and sharp. It is a deep solid black color. The 3 inches is worth the money!

Great spine repair!
We have a few old books that have issues with the spine. This tape worked great. It looks and feels like high quality material, and it has excellent adhesive. It really classed up a few rough looking book covers. I think that I’ll try to find a clear tape from this brand for interior repairs.

Did not use for bookbinding
We have an antique dining room set that was inherited from my grandparents, which included custom made protective, padded table covers that fold up when not in use. These pads were starting to fall apart in the folds and on the edges. Since they are made from cloth materials, we decided to try bookbinding tape AND it worked great!!In fact we ordered more to keep on hand should we need it.

This lovely tape made it so easy to repair my very old books.
I inherited a great-grandmother's book collection with some items in need of repair. This binding tape was the perfect rescue for precious books that others might have discarded. Even my youngest daughter was impressed with how the damaged books looked and functioned after this simple fix. Cheers.

Great couch repair!!!!
I have two cats and a beat up couch since they have claws some of the material on the arm started to pile. Instead of using the clear shiny packing tape I bought this and it did a great job. Just wish they had a dark gray color.
