I have used this product for some time now and love it. I love it's ease of use, colour, the body it gives to my hair and the fact that it washes out so there is no damage from harsh chemicals in more permanent hair colour products.

My mom used this product in the 1960s. I got tired of spending so much for hiding the grey. So during the pandemic I stopped. Now I feel so washed out looking, a friend recommended Roux. I’m still getting used to applying it. I’d like a little more red in my color. I’m a fading strawberry blond (think Nicole Kidman) peachy blond. This color is helping. Not sure yet how often to use it. But it does add color and that is the point.

I used this product for awhile and was relatively happy with the ease and coverage. But... I couldn't figure out why my bathroom was always 'dirty'... small, brownish thread-like flecks all over the place... in every crevice.Then I realized it was from this product. I tried using a smaller amount, but the 'dirt' would not go away. This was making me crazy.I stopped using this, thoroughly cleaned the bathroom, and no more 'dirt'. (I do recall reading about this 'dirt' phenomena in a review prior to my first purchase, but just filed it away for future reference...)Just switched to the non-mousse version of this product (which comes in more colors) and am much happier.

Easy to apply. Works best on clean dry hair. Wash hair the night before. Apply to dry hair in the morning. Comb through to distribute color evenly.I use brush rollers with a dab of gel. Leave up about one hour. Then comb out.
