Ease of cooking
It is great.It makes cooking pasta very easy and less messy and you use less dishes. Don't have to add salt and you don't steam up your kitchen or yourself. You also use less water.I'll probably give some pasta boats as Christmas presents. It also does not make a mess in your microwave.The cooking time seems a little longer than they say but all that's great about it make up for that.

Received wrong product
Did not receive the product pictured. Charged shipping more than the the product cost. Too large for my microwave. The actual Pasta Boat is a great item

Many conveniences but averages 17 minutes microwave time!!
This product has many great features including the handles that stay cool and measure your pasta. It is a large pasta boat, great for even your largest recipes. It is nice to be able to cook, strain, serve, and store all in the same container. It cleans up nicely as well. Let me restate the fact that it is a LARGE pasta boat, so it is great for serving many people, but it is a lot to store as well.My only complaint (and it is a considerable one) is that the average 2 Cup serving of Elbow Pasta takes 17 MINUTES to cook!!! That is a lot of time and even more concerning, A LOT OF POWER to cook your pasta. Some servings/pasta types take 20+ minutes in the microwave! Consider this fact when deciding whether or not to purchase the item.

Surprisingly great.
I really thought this would be a stupid idea and have no idea why I actually purchased it. I must have had some subconscious moment of clarity. I love this device. It cooks pasta perfectly, and unlike stove top cooking, even if i walk away, it does not overcook the pasta.

This item was suppose to be new but there was stuff on it and there was no directions inside the box and they would be very helpful

it is not as easy as it looks.
Used this thing once it was a mess. My wife thought it be a quick and easy way to make pasta what a nightmare.

Great idea
For cooking pasta I found it to be ideal. The pasta cooks in minutes, I can drain the pasta boat without having to use a colander and it is easy to clean. Also, I really like this item for steaming vegtables and I even use it to cook potatos for mashing. I havn't found anything negative about it.

it works
It may take a few tries before you can calibrate the cooking time to your microwave as none seem to be exactly alike but once you do the pasta comes out pretty quick and pretty good
