The Splat Pastel Mixer will dilute the color; however, it takes quite a bit to pastel the colors & it is a small bottle uf you plan in doing alot of hair.

The rumors are true -- you must use this cream to pastelize your Splat dye. Unlike Manic Panic, Splat dye precipitates in conditioner and becomes disgusting and impossible to apply. Really glad I bought this to make light blue-purple hair. One word of warning -- add your dye one drop at a time. I used way too much initially and had to thin it out a lot. If you have short hair you can probably get a few uses out of this bottle.

Unfortunately, splat will not mix with any other brand nor be diluted with any conditioner. This pastelizer is supposed to be their solution to this. Now, splat has some beautiful colours, but their dye NEVER STOPS BLEEDING. The instructions figuratively specify that everything you come in to contact with, should expect to be ruined. It's a shame, the colors are really pretty.

Love it love it love it love it I know a lot of people say you can use regular hair conditioner instead of this product but I would not try it on my hair I just would be afraid to do it this product is fantastic I'm not going to run the risk of using hair conditioner

Put a definite pink/purple hue to my blue

It needs to be thicker. It's okay, but the packers of just dye are very watery.
