MagnumMen's Viper Pro 8.0+Combat Boot

This is the second pair of these boots that I have bought. The first pair lasted for about four years and are almost worn out and so I bought the same again. I am wearing them in right now. They are comfortable and long-lasting but that’s why I was prepared to pay a little more than the cheap rubbish out there.

Overall very impressed with these. They would definitely have 5 stars from me if it wasn’t for the fact that the zips are so fine toothed they easily get clogged with finest of mud. I wear them in very muddy conditions and they do an amazing job of keeping my feet warm dry and comfortable, but when it comes to removing them, very often the zipper won’t undo because of the mud. So I have to thoroughly wash the zips every time otherwise I can’t undo or do them up. It’s also caused the zip to split open a couple of times. It would be easily resolved by a simple velcro flap that just folds over the zip once done up.An update - less than a year later. The boots almost disintegrated. The zips split irreparably, the rubber waterproof flaps perished and they now become soaking wet just walking through dewy grass. Despite regular treatment and waterproofing, the leather became rock hard. Basically they are now unwearable and I’ve had to throw them away. Shame. They started out so well.

I’ve always bought magnum boots. The ‘heavy metal’ boot of my youth.Tough and flexible. Not always waterproof but doesn’t say it is.Size fits as described and comfortable. I’ve found a cushioned insole helps as they age.Typically have lasted nearly 3 years of hardish use with the soles being the first to wear through/out. Uppers remain pretty sturdy

It’s so good to have a working zip again

I Bought magnum panther before which is quiet similar to this boot, it's comfortable but still needs innersole if you standing more then 10 hours a day. Overall good strong boots, only downside the new layer under the zipper is coming off after few days is grate idea but needs to be double stitched

Bought for work as having had several pairs of Magnum boots previously. I have always found them to be comfortable and long lasting. This pair is the first I have had with the side zipper, and it does make them easier to get on and off.
