I did order some Scotch sleeves that are much better than the starter samples sent with the product. Heats up fast, and does an excellent job with no air bubbles in the laminate. Overall, I'm very pleased.

We love this laminator! It is compact and so is easy to travel with and store. We were up and running within minutes of removing from box, as it was very easy to set up and use. It might be compact and smaller than most, but it works just as well as my big machine and the heat output is equivalent! Thanks for a great product.

This was the perfect laminator for us to have at home! For being compact it had great heat output. It’s very simple to use for little projects.

I had a laminator but, something got caught on the hot wheel inside and we had to tear the machine apart to get it out.Lesson learned when using these machines. Use the laminating sheets that have the folded crease. I, being cheap, tried to cut one in half to save a sheet. Because I did this, I didn't line up the top and bottom sheets right. And then when it hit the hot wheel inside the machine, one of the sheets slipped that exposed the inside part. Or I did the sheets backwards? Not sure. But, because of that, the sheet stuck to the roller.Being smart is cheaper than being frugal.I do love this laminator. Works about the same as my other one. Has on/off button and a ready light. When the light comes on, it's hot enough to laminate. Gently guide the laminating sheet in the slot. (folded part of sheet first so it can push any air out when going in the machine) Don't shove it in. As soon as the machine grabs it, let go and let the machine to the work. Finished product comes out the back.I don't do a lot of projects. But, I love having a smaller more compact laminator here for when I need it.I just put it back in the box, when cooled, and have it in my closet for easy access.

I currently have a laminator. It's rather bulky. Adding to that I have to get out my even bulkier paper cutter to trim items before and after laminating. And then of course scissors to round the pointy edges of the laminated item.This laminator has everything you need in a well designed package. The laminator has a built in paper/laminate cutter that will handle a 12 piece of paper. No more digging out my bulky paper cutter. It also has a clever device to make perfectly rounded corners on your laminated item. No more sloppy rounded corners made with scissors. And, the corner rounder stores in the bottom of the laminator. Genius. In addition to all that it also comes with 5 binder rings and a single hole punch. I haven't used the latter yet but it would come in handy if you wanted to laminate something that you could wear around your neck like a pass.The first thing I laminated were photocopies of our vaccination cards so we could carry them around to show proof of vaccination. The originals are safely stored at home to record future vaccinations or boosters if needed.This really is a great package at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

This is an easy to use all in one laminating kit for 8.5" wide or narrower projects. It's designed to work with laminating 'pouches'.Operation of the laminating element is simple. Pressing the power button powers on the heating element and drive motor, and the button turns green when it's heated up. The motor runs all the time, as evidenced by the slight hum. Slide the item in its laminating pouch into the front of the machine (the side with the power button) and in a minute it will exit the back.The top of the unit is a paper cutter, and it works well to cut the laminated plastic cleanly. It gets a little warm from the heating element below it, but not uncomfortably so.There are a couple of nice add-ons here. The little edge rounder pops out of the back of the unit and does a great job of duplicating the 1/4" round found on the stock laminating pouch (see photo). The hole punch completes the set, allowing you to make a 3/16" hole for a lanyard.The unit comes with a few photo sized pouches and a few letter sized ones. They're all glossy finish. I used one of the photo sized ones to laminate the card shown in the photo.

Most laminators are simple, and as long as they worked as promised, there wouldn’t be much of a difference between them. That said, this has a small footprint, but heats up quickly, and works perfectly. The ability to keep it on a desktop, and not have to get it, every time you needed it, is awesome. Obviously, you wouldn’t keep it out, unless you needed it at least a few times a week. If whatever you need it for, is something that your workflow requires frequent use, having the reduced size is a huge plus. I used to do a lot of photographic work, and developed my own prints, before digital photography made that totally obsolete. I mention this because as a photographer, I always had a pro paper cutter handy, to trim, or separate prints. Now that those days are gone, having a paper cutter available is awesome, and with this laminator having it built in, and especially in the same footprint, makes this a fantastic choice. Good luck!

I love this laminating machine! I am a crafter and laminate a lot. My old name brand laminator clonked out after my husband decided to laminate something thicker than the machine was made for. I decided to take my chances with this. I can say it works well even with the thicker documents my husband was laminating. It’s fast and easy. The cutter and the corner rounder are a plus. As a crafter, I already have paper trimmers and corner rounders but not having to take all these tools out along with the laminator is extremely convenient. The most I’ve laminated has been 20 sheets and it probably could’ve kept going. I’m glad I took my chances with this brand.
