Nice bottle just watch 1 thing
Bought this for a work, I work outside in the heat. It has been great. Keeps my water cold all day in the sun. Just watch 1 thing. The lid will feal like you have it on secure and it is plastic so you might be afraid to over Tighten the lid, but give it a little more. Otherwise it will leak a little.

Slight leakage
Loved the idea of drinking water from this jug throughout the day. For some reason it would leak from the inside of the spout. I returned it and bought another. Same thing happens. Without the leakage it would definitely be a 5 star review.

Solid water jug
For the price, it is a great product. Holds up well to kids use for soccer and band camps. They’re happy with how much it water it holds and that it stays (relatively) cold. Depending on how the rest of the sports seasons go this school year, I may upgrade them to the stainless steel Contigo container which holds less water, but stays ice colder…

perfect for camp
Leak proof... if you remember to lock it. Don't be me who didn't and it popped open in the car. It was messy. My kids have used this daily for 2 weeks worth of marching band on the hot Aug sun (high 80° weather and sunny). They practice on asphalt and keep their stuff close by. The ice lasted all day (12 & 9 hour days) in it.I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend. We use a lot of Contigo bottles and this one matches my expectations of quality.

Due to silicone spout, mold starts to grow!
ADDENDUM:Due to liquid getting in and around the silicone spout, mold will eventually start to form in and around! The silicone spout part cannot be easily remove, so it's very hard to keep this clean. The mold became so prolific that I first noticed is coming out of the seams on the sides of the hard plastic spout.I usually just fill with water and clean with dishwashing detergent and sponge after every use; I did not clean the middle of the spout, as the sponge would only go down about 1/4" from either side. This is a really bad design! You cannot keep that area clean and dry.My unit came with "triangle" keyed screws, so you need a special triangle (bit) screwdriver to even take it apart. The unit does leak through the silicone spout, so liquid gets underneath very easily. This becomes a very bad health hazard!ORIGINAL POST:Well, it looks...cool.Fill it up to capacity, and it's deceivingly heavy. It doesn't help that the primary carrying handle doesn't work very well - it is top heavy (due to the complex top - so it tends to want to tilt.Holding the unit by the handle will tend to lean over at a 45-degree angle - add to the flexible, flat rubber handle, and it's very uncomfortable to hold.Trying to carry it via the "fence handle" is very uncomfortable. The unit never sealed 100% - as the other reviews have mentioned - as the unit does not sit on it's natural bottom.Unless you secure it, it tends to flop over when driving around, due to it being top heavy.Having it roll around or rest on it's side will cause it to...leak. Surprise.Drinking from the spout isn't very nice, especially when full - the liquid tends to glug-glug-glug because of no opposing vent.Other better designs have an opposing vent so liquid flow is smoother.Once the fluid level is down to 1/4 or so, it dispenses a lot better. The one large spout is the only opening.Speaking of the spout...so due it's folding design, the spout is a piece of silicone. Now, this allows the spout to close itself when folded over, but repeated back and forth will eventually cause it...leak.Brand new, this silicone piece should seal well, but over time it'll warp and possibly crack and tear due to the folding action; don't expect this to last years - I would recommend storing the thermos in the spout open position to minimize stress on the silicone piece.I bought this primarily due to it's capacity, and it's going to be carrying water, so the little leaks isn't that much of a hassle versus if I was trying to carry something that stains or gets sticky (i.e. sugar). The primary sealing ring on the cover looks to be *foam* (think pool noodle) - better would be rubber or even silicone.I'm going to try and source a silicone o-ring to see if it seals better...

Worth ever cent.
I lost my leg recently, and had a stroke a year ago. So I been trying to find products that cut down on me having to run back and forth while recovering and sorting my life.I originally was using hospital style cups. I ordered a large 32 ounce cup, but the lid wasnt secure. So I was cleaning up many drop waters. Eventually I found this bad boy and loved it.At the time $20usd for a big jug. It's for a secure locking spout. A large capacity that keeps drinks nice and cold for most of the day. I can pour me a cup and it will be ice cold.Plus for the sports people. It has this awesome chain link fence hook I never gotten to encounter before. So cool.
