Edit: below is my original review. But Im updating it. I contacted customer service and they sent me a brand new one without any issues. I am so pleased that at some point, I will buy another one of their products because customer service is that good! As for issue of staining on outside of the product, I figured out the issue was using an essential oil that had a yellowish color to it and that caused the issue. Ive since switched to clear essential oils only in my new diffuser and don't anticipate any further issues. Hope this helps! ******* I bought this Jan 9, 2025. It stopped working today Jan 16, 2026. I have other diffusers that have worked far longer than 1 year so I cant say I would recommend this particular one unfortunately. Its really pretty, but the outside piece feels similar to rough porcelain and when the vapor (with the essential oils) comes down on the cover, the oils tend to leave stains on the cover. And I cant wash or scrub them off. *sigh*

Update #3: This diffuser has persnickety control buttons. I thought the 1st one failed because I couldn't get it to restart after three nights of working just fine. I wrote to seller, and they sent me a free replacement. Now that I've learned how to operate these unusual controls, I decided to test the "old broken" one again. To my surprise, tonight it works fine! So maybe the 1st one wasn't broken... might have been a case of complex controls and user unfamiliarity! Or... will it work for a few nights and then fail again? I'll update with news. Update #2: Seller sent a new diffuser, and it works fine. Great customer service! Update #1: Seller has agreed to "send a new kit." I'll update again if we receive it and it works more than three nights! We were excited to try our very first essential oils diffuser at night in our bedroom. Lovely style, subtle pleasant light, nice! Three nights it worked. Then I replenished water/oil again as usual and tried to start it last night. Nada! It would not turn on! I've checked and rechecked. Unplugged and replugged. Nada! I sent an email to the manufacturer today, and a message to the seller. I'm hopeful someone will respond and repair/replace it!

I purchased my Vivitest Ceramic Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser for Aromatherapy as a cost-effective option to my previously purchased VITRVI Stone Essential Oil Diffuser. While I truly enjoyed both products, I was originally impressed with Vivitest's larger design option with multi color illumination features. I positioned my diffuser in my entry of my home and used it daily, enjoying the aroma and tranquility of device. I absolutely loved the unit. However, exactly 6 months after my purchase, the ON/OFF button no longer worked. The LIGHT button is still functional, and the device still illuminates when pressed, but has no aroma. No scent, no mist. I reached out to the manufacturer for assistance, and received an immediate response, to which I was grateful. I emailed the manufacturer to activate the 1-year warranty, as stated on their website. Support provided simple and easy instructions to trigger the unit's reset function. I was excited to try this option and to once again begin enjoying the full functionality and features of my respected device. However, to my disappointment, the reset function also failed. I quickly notified the manufacturer by email, once again, and received an immediate response from support, who apologized for my experience, requesting my address, and offered to replace my item. I was very pleased with support's follow up and resolution, as I was expecting a refund, but truly desired a workable unit. The manufacturer's offer to replace was pleasing and a most satisfying way to proceed. I thanked support for their quick email responses, business acumen, and thanked them for their solid business practices. I was excited to receive my replacement unit, and waited eagerly for it to arrive, my ears peaked and tail wagging with anticipation. However, after 3 weeks of non-delivery, I reached back out to support to follow up. This time, I received no response. A few days later, I followed up again, expressing my concern that I now felt deceived and ignored. Still, no response. I understand that products fail, emails get overlooked, and that no one is perfect. I took all these things into consideration and was still happy with my overall experience. However, because of the manufacturer’s continuance to ignore my plight, what was once only perceived as a simple, easily rectifiable outcome, has been magnified into complete regret and utter disappointment. I now feel that it is necessary to enlighten the world of my overall horrific experience with both Vivitest products, pricing, quality, and customer service. I do not recommend Vivitest products and made the effort to present product awareness through this online review. I give this product and manufacture 1 star out of 5 stars. Absolutely horrible! I have nothing positive to share. Only my complete and repugnant dissatisfaction and distaste of dreadful business practices and a subpar, inferior product. I felt compelled to spread the word. Hands down, this diffuser is beautiful. It’s elegant, well made, and the ceramic design looks great in any room. I really love the timer feature so you can plan it to run without worrying about turning it off. The soft light is a nice touch and adds a calm, cozy feel. Beyond how it looks, diffusers are great for creating a relaxing environment and setting the mood in a space. We’ve been using Hawaiian-inspired oils like plumeria, coconut, and tropical citrus, and they make the house smell amazing without being overpowering. Lavender is great in the evening to wind down, while eucalyptus or peppermint works well during the day for a fresh, clean scent. This diffuser is both functional and pretty enough to leave out, which is exactly what I want in home items.

I’ve been using this diffuser for a little while now, and honestly, I really like it. It looks nice, works well, and makes my room smell great without being overpowering. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I wish it worked for a bigger room. I tried setting it up in my living room but I did not feel like it filled the room as much as when I put it in my bedroom. Overall though, great purchase. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something simple and reliable.

This ceramic essential oil diffuser looks elegant and works great. Easy to use, quiet, and fills the room with a pleasant scent. Very happy with this purchase
