Called to Conquer: Finding Your Assignment in the Kingdom of God

When I was saved in 1982, I had all kinds of questions that no one in the "Church" seemed to be able or willing to give a satisfactory answer to. Instructions that I felt I needed but just was not receiving. As a result, I spent many years searching on my own and wondering why it was that there was such a difference between the Church talked about in the Bible and what I was seeing in different Churches across the country. It was not all bad, just not what it seemed it was supposed to be.After years I realize that the main reason for not getting the help I needed was because the people that I'd asked were reluctant to answer because they really didn't know and the ones that may have known didn't put it quite where I could get it. (In all honesty, It's probably a bit my fault, too)About a third of the way through the book, I know that this was what I had been looking for and needing way back then and I'm so thankful to have it now.

It reminded me that every now and then I should check with God and see if I'm still in sync with Him, in the right place at the right time, as sometimes the daily busyness is such a great help in taking me on a detour. And that one of the main things in my walk with Him is to follow His plans for me and "do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Eph. 2:10), and not my own thing. It's a great book, I recommend it to anyone who has pride or ambition issues, or feels totally insignificant and useless in the Kingdom, or confused, or out of God's will.. Whichever the issue, it's not going to solve the problem for you.. It's going to remind you that God Almighty is your great Father and that He has created you for a specific purpose, and show you how you could get back on track.

To all who desire to be serious for the Lord Jesus (relating to finding your place in the Body) and who are sick & tired of the materialistic nonsense which claims to be teaching in the Body - then this book is for you. Derek Prince is in my opinion without equal (even years after his death) as a teacher in the body of Christ (and believe me in 26 years of being a Christian I have read a great many christian books). If you want to find out about your calling and why you are here, then reading this book will certain assist you in trying to answer this question. Read this book thru carefully (and pray-fully) and try to digest all of its pages even if it takes you a long time. This book isn't to be rushed but cherished and reread.

This is a very informative and inspirational book on the application of God's word in the affairs of one's life. It is of the essential nature of what it means to live the Christian life and be victorious because of what Christ our Messiah has accomplished for us and how the Holy Spirit works out this salvation for us as individuals. There are two parts, what Christ has done for us and how we come out from under the curse to be blessed both spiritually and as well in the blessing in life.

Derek Prince was without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable Bible Scholars of the Twentieth Century. In a century of growing schism and 'stove-piping' of Christian beliefs and dogmas, his scholarship, revelation knowledge, and devotion to the Word of God spanned the width and plumbed the depths of the Bible's teachings for Christian living. The life he lived was an excellent indication he believed what he taught. I have read almost a dozen of his books, and always look forward to getting into another as time permits.

A true spiritual map to find your calling, articulated in a clear and unambiguous way, that will give the believer certainty in doing the work they have been created in Christ Jesus to do. Dereck Prince has the anointing of the holy Spirit to see things through the eyes of God and relay it in vivid form to the believers. This book is evidence of a man being faithful to his Commission by the Lord Jesus Christ to edify and build up the body of Christ

I've adopted Derek Prince as my long-lost grandfather. I love his teachings, both written and audio. Called to Conquer is great for mature Christians and those ready to take a good look at themselves and ready to remove the roadblock to progress which is their flesh. However, if you are trying to find out about God's call on your life, this is not the book for you.

Derek Prince does an awesome job of presenting the full life in Christ, abiding in Him daily, and discovering and walking in your calling. It is a must read for new and mature Christians.

This is yet another great book by Derek Prince, i found it a reminder and a eye opener to my calling in GOD, it is a Christian book and has a challenge to Christian's. I found myself in agreement with what I read as Derek gently leads you to what CHRIST has done and the path HE has made for us. If you are wondering or seek the direction of the calling you or we have then this is a good book to read. I have found this book to stir up the desire to refocus on my calling and step up to what the heart of GOD has and the price HE paid for me. I can only review this book from a point of faith as this is the target of the writer and those that are called to conquer from GOD's way in openness to the cross with peace and love. Basically I recommend this book to anyone looking to GOD for revelation to their calling in CHRIST.

A challenging book but gets you in the right place to move forward in your gifts

I felt the need to get this book.. it appealed to me in my learning processes to stand strong and go forth in the name of JESUS.
