Saved me an expensive steering cable replacement!
The Cable Buddy and Max Lube saved me well over $1,000.00 on replacing a rusted steering cable for a Yamaha F40. It’s easy to install and works wonders! There is a lot of YouTube videos on how to clean out a rusted cable assembly. Installing the Cable Buddy has completely restored my steering to new!

I used it on a 25 foot shift cable. I like how it gives the shifter a slow sort of hydrolic feeling but the captain hates it.

i have used this lube for over 20 years, it is simply the best there is for boat stearing cables. plus you only need a very,very small amount.
