On top of the head under the engine cover ( the plastic part that surrounds the oil fill port). Once you pull the engine cover you'll see the old one, just pop it up and put in the new.

How many miles before you change case filter

I change mine every other service I do my services every 5-6000 miles using rotella t4 15w40 an use all mopar filters changing all 3 oil water fuel for $60 to keep the truck running an motor healthy why not.

Why is this product half the price of the others?

because its sold from a business that does not have rent to pay on a building. Thats why most stuff online is cheaper. No operating expenses
