Talc IS naturally occurring in some rocks but there is some controversy because rocks contacting talc might also contain trace asbestos (asbestos is also an “all-natural” mineral). There’s no concrete evidence that the trace levels of asbestos found in talc (including many baby powders) is harmful to humans (I personally try to avoid it).
