Mindful Living Live Edge Floating Wall Shelf (24" Shelf)

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic floating shelf. I was skeptical about buying it from a seller on Amazon instead of my usual go tos like Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel, but I'm so glad I did. Delivery was fast (whereas my other stores were at least 3 weeks to ship) I ordered earlier this week (maybe Tuesday?) and installed today (Friday) when it arrived at the post office. Came in a larger box, heavy and well packaged to avoid any Knicks or scratches en route. Instructions for install were laughable (overly simplified) but if you've ever installed anything by drilling holes for dry wall anchors and then screwing into a wall vase, you'll be fine. Just check your leveling, the metal rod base that attaches to the wall was slightly unlevel left to right so I had to adjust once I'd already drilled holes. No problemo though. Everything went in smoothly. Do pay attention to how the base inserts into the wood block, as another reviewer warned; this piece only fits into the base one way and the metal base piece could be installed "backwards" by accident. The wood slid onto the metal rods easily and tightened up to the wall great. Shelf hangs level from wall to edge, and from side to side. The live edge is smooth and the whole piece has a nice finish on it so the wood is smooth and clean (no chance for splinters or catching) all around. I really love it. For $100 and fast shipped, it's gorgeous and fits my needs perfectly. I'm already eyeing other places in the house where I might need a couple more of these beauties!

These are beautiful live edge shelves but with smooth feeling sides. They are both 36" long but are very different from each other. Which I like. Beware, the holes to attach it to the wall are not spaced to meet the studs behind the drywall. I have a limited amount of wall space to hang them and need them to be centered. Thus the problem finding a stud where I needed it.These are VERY heavy shelves. The little screws included do not even begin to hold it.

Lost a star because the two shelves are a bit more dissimilar in appearances than I personally preferred. But they are very nice.

The media could not be loaded. These shelves are gorgeous and heavy! Quality pieces. We made sure at least one screw was in a stud on each shelf. The rods fit into the shelf seamlessly and there was no gap or sag when we slid the shelves on. They are each unique (not identical) but look great together, which is what we were looking for. I liked that they were live edge and organic but not overly rustic (so many were cheap pine). And the price was lower than so many I looked at on Etsy.

The shelf itself is nice, sure buy nowhere does it say that these are not going to line up with studs (the holes in the bracket) yet it says to mount to stud. It also doesn't tell you that it matters the direction of the bracket so now I have to put more holes in my wall to be able to flip the bracket around and reinstall. Even when in a stud the shelf slants forward enough to notice. These details matter when putting such large things with weight on the wall!

Heavy, real dense wood. I looked everywhere for these type of live edge floating shelves. Love them. I did have to add a strip of wood under the bracket to tilt the bracket up a little, since once it was put on, the weight made it sag just a touch…if this makes sense. Anyways because they are real, they’re heavier- but that’s what I wanted- real!

Easy to install. Heavy shelf 2 pieces of solid wood put together not one piece. I would send a few longer screws to hit studs with. The drywall inserts aren’t enough to mount this shelf. Overall great quality and looks beautiful
