Brentwood Steam Iron with Retractable Cord, Non-Stick, Red

When I received this iron it was obvious the box had been opened. After opening the box I knew that the "new" iron was a "used" iron. The iron wasn't in the plastic bag and the cord was not retracted all the way. When I turned the iron on and it heated up there was condensation on the sides of the where the water goes and I had not placed any water in the iron. Hard to see in the picture but the surface of the iron is scuffed up.With all that being said the functions on the iron work great except the cord doesn't retract like it should. Guess that really doesn't matter to me since my iron sits out on the ironing board 90% of the time. It is light weight and easy to use. Going to keep it because I am in the middle of a lot of sewing and my old iron shot craps. I live 40 miles from a store where I could get a decent iron. My time and gas are worth more than the iron cost. Sure hope the extended warranty covers my "new" iron, guess it was only $3.99.

Decent iron, have some room for improvement on the retractable cord though. It's really finicky when you get to the last foot or two. You have to keep pulling the cord in and out to find that sweet spot that it will go in all the way. It also leaks sometimes.

Thought this was a good iron for the price turned out to be the worst purchase. First the clothes stick to the plate and it started leaking the first week. Should’ve returned it then but gave it another chance. Secondly it stopped working. Do not buy this.

I liked the look, price and the overall quality

I dislike the fact that the retractable cord failed within three months of use (2 x per week). 😒
