Good upgrade to pressed steel brakes
Bought to remove awful brake squeak by eliminating distorting pressed steel V brakes (as shipped with all Apollo bikes).High powered brakes in comparison and very happy with performance.Very easy to fit.I bought the cheaper black pads set and needed to buy additional Clarke’s pads to eliminate the squeak completely. Be better if it cost £2 more and gave high performance out of the box.Now it’s fully installed, pads fitted with correct toe and springs balanced performance is really good. And even better my teenager is now willing to ride in public!!

Cheap and nasty
A bit cheap and nasty. They rattle around and feel quite loose.Edit: After a few months use they have both now broken. On both of them the spring on the right caliper has got jammed between the rotating sections, jamming that side on.AVOID THESE.

Saved me a lot of money.
Local Bike Guy quoted me £80 to replace front and rear brakes.Did wonder if these would work for both the front and rear but took the gamble. They did, the Allen key's provided did most of the work.Very Happy.

Not what it says on the tin
Watch out I clicked to order 2 pairs of brakes and only got one. I received one pair of brakes not two which was what was on the item I chose.
