Not a great towel but a GREAT beach blanket!
Could it be used as a towel? Yes. Is it like what you use at home every day? No.Personally, I like a fabric more absorbent for a towel, even at the beach. This is a thin flannel-type fabric like what is used to make baby receiving blankets. It’s soft but not fluffy absorbent. It IS absorbent but it’s different feel against your skin. I would use it in a pinch as a towel but would be thinking ICK, NO while doing it.I bought this to use as a beach blanket. This company sells this same product, different prints and sizes, as a beach blanket but I liked this print the best. I sewed sturdy ribbon looped onto the corners so that I could stake it into the sand to keep it from blowing away. Worked perfectly! (Their blanket version already have this.)You are able to shake 99% of the sand off it whether it’s wet or dry. The little that’s left is not problematic at all and much less than what a towel would hold. It also dries quickly, is light to carry, and takes up less space than a traditional beach blanket. The size I purchased is big enough for three people to lay across it. When it’s just me, I fold it in half and still have plenty of room for my bag, book, lunch box, etc.I’ve used it six times and washed it. Still holding up great. Color still looks good!If that changes, I’ll update my review.

Nice travel towels
We bought two of these towels and they are nice as they quickly dry you off. They are a tad heavy for their compact size so fine for a suitcase but maybe a little heavy to back back with. Quality is nice and the storage pouch is nice as well.My wife purchased them and I was a bit skeptical but they are nice travel towels!

Great purchase!
This towel was great for a recent beach trip. It is light weight and the sand easily brushed off. The towel is really soft but was able to dry you off too. This was a great purchase and I would definitely buy again.

Great triathlon or any day Towel
I now have this towel I'm 2 sizes. I love that it folds/rolls up to nothing and is super absorbent. Love the design of the graphics, love the softness. Love the elastic band sewn into it so when you fold and roll it up, it stays put. Even when wet, it does take up a lot of space in my bag. It's especially great for training in Triathlon as it's a great training matt. To eliminate sand getting in the least amount of places as possible. I have the bath towel size and the oversized beach blanket size. The bigger one is really great if friends want to share. We can get 6 peopels gear bags and still stand on an edge to put on or take off a wetsuit.Washes perfect. No change to size or shape after 1st wash or 10th wash. Colors don't bleed bit I only wash with like colors.Note on WASHING and CARE:Personally I DO NOT USE Fabric softener. Like on any micro fiber type yoga/Sports towels, I don't use fabric softener as it breaks down the absorption qualities and makes towels feel "greasy". Also, I splurge and use The Laundress Sport Detergent on all my tri, workout and yoga clothes and towels (basically anything with nylon or elastic), and my stuff lasts far longer than people that use harsh detergents. If you invest in nicer quality items, take the tiny bit of extra time to take care of them....then they last longer. I have sports towels and workout clothes that I have used/worn for over 3-5 years and they are just like new! And name brand or generic, check your fabric content and Google The Laundress. You won't be sorry.

Nice large towel
I got this to put underneath an inflatable sun lounger on our wooden deck - was concerned a splinter might puncture it. This towel is perfect for that but also seems like it would be good at the beach or park as a picnic blanket. It's easy to refold and store and looks pretty cool and it dries fairly quickly.

Love this beach towel
Large light weight beach blanket. Vibrant blues. Octopus design is cool. So light and absorbent. Dries quickly. Perfect size for a picnic or for two people to relax and soak up the sun.

Pretty nifty!
Wonderful product. Smooth, large and pretty. Sadly the carrying pouch ripped first time putting back in. Luckily the towel rolls up nice and holds with the integrated strap.

Ideal for travel
Loving my new towel. Does take a little time to get used to though. I find rather than trying to rub yourself dry as with a normal towel this works better with a dabbing technique. Dries me really well. Dries very quickly especially in the sun. Very lightweight and packs up small. Very pretty design.

Packs small and light
Not your typical beach towel. This towel is a soft microfiber material, which means that it’s thin and light-weight (great for packing small) but also very absorbent and dries quickly. It’s also LONG, which is hard to find. I’m not super tall (only 5’7”) but I find that the majority of regular beach towels are not as long as I am tall, so either my head or feet hang over the end. Not this one – I have a couple extra inches on both ends. This towel is reversible (different pattern on the other side) and folds up into a compact cylinder and has an attached elastic loop that you can pull over the rolled up towel to keep it together. This is the perfect towel to bring with you anywhere, but mostly it’s great for those times when you need to pack light, like if you’re hiking to a swimming spot and only want to bring a small backpack.
